Inside knowledge that Peters wouldn't be on the same team as Johnson? For what its worth CKW doesn't care much for early commits, my guess is its unlikely he would even take one from Johnson until the spring/summer of 2016. 

And McCarthy don't pick until its pretty much a sure thing.

Well, depends on the recruiting service. As far as position, I believe he is being recruited as a linebacker.

Hmmmm..... I see a Boise State recruiting guru changed his Crystal Ball to IU today!

And a couple of notes to that. While the two UAB transfers count against the class size, they are not figured into class rankings by the recruiting sites. Also, 247Composite rankings have IU at 38th in the nation in class rank. Any way about it we have the makings  of a excellent class.

Who knows. I thought about that, but consider this: CKW seems to be willing to split plenty of reps for RB's. So second string RB is still probably going to see a lot of play, and the 3rd string RB is going to get some. Then there is this, Howard comes in as the heir apparent to Coleman, but he will not be handed the job, he'll have to earn it. He would project as a starter early, but we have some good backs who may well beat him out. 

Will this work instead?

We need more defense. The defense was really starting to come on last year, and looks to be in line with defensive progression that Coach Knorr has had at previous jobs. But yes, we really need to pick up some more quality defenders. Jamal Milan would be a good pickup, at least one more quality linebacker, a corner or two, and a DE or two. We have some good defenders, but we really need to upgrade and build depth.

Hate to root for Wisky, but since they are playing Auburn, I have too. Really wanting to see Minny kick some a$$ today!
