Death has had a near MSB experience.
-
MSB has made Madonna blush...... three times.
-
I'll settle for 6 wins, I want at least one more.
-
Some people just don't know enough about football (or life) to see progress until its undeniable and hitting them in the face.
-
We need MSB t-shirts! 41, you're up!
-
Wow! Don't bring Chuck into this, would hate to see the devastation to the planet if MSB and Chuck met in conflict!
-
Yes, and I want Rainbow stew and free Bubble Up also. And a black unicorn, 'cause that would just be freaking cool!
-
Funny. I get those who say that until we prove them wrong, we'll always be picked at the bottom. That makes sense. The ones who don't see improvements, don't get that.

Bobby Richardson - New York Giants
HoosierReb01 replied to biteoftheapple's topic in Hoosiers in the Pros
http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/10-undrafted-free-agents-who-could-become-nfl-stars/ar-BBjamkt?ocid=HPCDHP#page=3 Bobby getting some love here. Seems like I've seen a couple of analysts who have noted good NFL potential in Richardson. Knock 'em dead, Bobby! -
http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/118649/big-tens-way-too-early-power-rankings No bowl for IU? 13th in the B1G power rankings? Yeah, somebody smoked their socks before they wrote their column.

I think there will be about a dozen open scholarships at the end of the season. Attrition will probably open up a few more. Since nothing in those first two sentences would separate the two, I'll clarify that this is about Football recruiting, not Basketball, since some of you probably didn't check what forum this was in first. CKW and staff tend to not get excited and jump on a lot of early commits. Without checking I think our first commit last year was in June. I wouldn't be surprised if this class develops even slower. First, this is going to be a small class, so the staff is probably going to be a bit pickier with accepting offers. Second, depth, at most positions, is not a major issue as it was a few years ago. That's not to say we won't see some commits soon. We tend to pick up a handful of Midwest kids in the summer, often after they camp at IU, and fill out the class late with southern recruits and the recruits that the staff really wanted and were committed to recruiting to the very end. I'm getting really excited to see if this will be the breakout year for IU football under CKW and staff. 7 or 8 wins, especially if there is a high profile upset or two in there, could give this class a boost at the end the tips a few late commits our way. The talent pool at IU has definitely improved in the last few years, and the defensive coaching took a major upswing (180 degrees) last year. I want to see the time that highly sought after recruits with major offers are trying to figure out if they can get any playing time in B-town. I think this class is really interesting, I would still like to see it heavier on defensive recruits than offensive. Overall, pumped up and ready for the recruiting season to hit full stride, and for the team to take the field. Commit #2, you're on the clock!

(2016) CB Roderick Campbell to Northwestern

Ready for a few to IU! Good luck Roderick, all the best. -
T Coleman to the Falcons
HoosierReb01 replied to Naturalhoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Yeah, that's a load of BS. -
As I recall from some comments he made around that time, I think he was less than enamored with how CTC failed to take advantage of his talents. Not trying to suggest that excuses any attitude issues, but I didn't disagree with him on that.

(2016) QB Peyton Ramsey to IU
HoosierReb01 replied to HoosierReb01's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I like this pickup. Lead us down the recruiting trail like and onto the field. -
Hmmm,,,,,Florida was in his top 3, but isn't in his top 10 now. IU is.

(2016) OT Sean Foster to Minnesota
HoosierReb01 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
Would have loved to have him, but he's going to a good program with a good staff, and he didn't go to Purdue or Wisky. Best of luck to him and hope he makes the League someday! -
(2016) QB Brandon Peters to Michigan
HoosierReb01 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
The only thing I would say there, is that we may have a recruit right behind him that we have had in "wait and see mode" until Peters decided. Augie DeBiase is one that comes to mind. If we get a QB commit the staff has probably moved on. -
(2016) DT Jovan Swann to Stanford
HoosierReb01 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
The visit yes, but whatever the #BOOM meant doesn't seem to be a commit. -

Who's the first '16 IUFB commit?
HoosierReb01 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I'm not expecting the Rose Bowl, but I expect to see improvement that takes us past not only last season, but the '13 season as well. I do think that it's all going to catch up pretty soon and we are going to see a season that is several leaps and bounds above that. I hope its this one. -
Why is Booing considered awful?
HoosierReb01 replied to weaverswonders6's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
The idea that positive reinforcement for lack of effort or shoddy work is going to help doesn't fly with me. It would be ridiculous to boo them just because they lost, but just as ridiculous to cheer them when they are not even putting effort out there. And while negativity may not help anything, a parent should point out where a child's poor habits have created a negative. It's about the attitude, approach and wording you use to convey the message, not about whether it points out to them the cause and effects of their actions. -
Who's the first '16 IUFB commit?
HoosierReb01 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
There are a few of us here that are more iufb than iubb. Welcome to our small club.
