Or McCollum. But this is IU, not to be confused with a well run program.

Some seem to think that young automatically means home run, to be fair. McCollum is only a homerun compared to Brownell.

IU is fine winning the "we do things the right way" award. So basically a participation trophy.

Oh if we did hire Brownell some here would gaslight themselves into thinking it has a chance. Same thing happened with Woodson.

IU has repeatedly shown over the last 25 years that this program is not well run. Brownell would be a stupid hire but we're coming off a pure nepotism hire.

Yep, they hired Woodson because he played here forever ago then gave him a 1mil to raise just for making the tournament. It's IU, basketball is king so people are more likely to meddle with that hire than football.

A well run program doesn't, a well run program doesn't hire Woodson to begin with. IU is not a well run program so it's certainly possible.

The last was regarding Bozich saying option 1 was Brownell and Option 2 McCollum.

I'd consider Drew a homerun. To me you don't move on from Woodson mid year to target McCollum or Devries, but the last 25 years has shown IU is anything but well run so it wouldn't surprise me

I've repeatedly said I'll believe Stevens when I see it happen. I'd be fine with Drew or Otzelberger.

It's Indiana, the last 25 years say the odds of an incompetent search are greater than 0. The real question would be are the odds of an incompetent IU search closer to 100 than they are 0.

Can we stop talking about Brownell? I'm trying to pretend the IU decision makers have two brain cells to rub together, and the thought they'd hire him is getting in the way.
