  1. In that post it's too late for the trick, Charlie kicked the ball and is waiting to see if it's good.
  2. I'd treat it like a WWE entrance for a main event. A brief statement, now introducing the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers... *glass breaks* Stevens walks out
  3. Better than Brownell or Turgeon
  4. It should be illegal to do something that stupid, unfortunately for us as fans it isn't.
  5. Do they have a title for laziest coach in college?
  6. It's Indiana, the last 25 years say the odds of an incompetent search are greater than 0. The real question would be are the odds of an incompetent IU search closer to 100 than they are 0.
  7. Can we stop talking about Brownell? I'm trying to pretend the IU decision makers have two brain cells to rub together, and the thought they'd hire him is getting in the way.
  8. Woodson wanted the title, not the job.
  9. They could offer to pay 8.33m to take him and I'd still say no.
  10. A British pound, about 1.29 USD.
  11. Cronin would be better but not worth the 16m buyout. Brownell shouldn't even be on the list.
  12. May as well just shut down fhe program and divert the funds to football and WBB. Hiring Woodson showed they were deeply unserious, following him up with Brownell would scream that they're not even going to try.
  13. Preemptively start a Fire Brownell thread and forward it to Dolson.
  14. Plus his salary is already around 4m, so we'd probably have to pay around 5-6m annually plus the buyout. The last 25 years says yes that would be an IU thing to do.
  15. Don't get her started on The Process.
  16. I had a dream we hired Brad Stevens, then woke up realizing it was only a dream. Disappointing start to a Friday.
  17. After Stevens' success in the NBA, hiring him would send shockwaves and get the attention of recruits. So no, not now.
  18. It's IUFB, the bar is set low. Just being bowl eligible every year consistently without making the playoffs would make Cignetti a no doubt grand slam.
  19. Doesn't mean we should lower our expectations, I sure as hell won't. Keep expectations where they should be, it's the coach's job to meet them.
  20. Last I checked this isn't Wisconsin.
  21. Indiana needed to go big game hunting; they couldn't afford the risk of someone like McCollum so yes he'd absolutely be a disappointing hire. This is big boy ball, I don't care what he did in DII.
  22. He's 59. Indiana could get 10 or so years out of him, I wouldn't complain about that at all.
