  1. Lol. Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants if out of nowhere Mustaf popped for IU tomorrow?
  2. Some key upside takeaways from Jordy Hulls on the Hoosier Hysterics podcast today: Trey Galloway has finally had a healthy summer and combined with his work ethic is set for a big year. Mack Mbako can really shoot the ball. That was said by Jordy more than once. And he is fearless when he does so. With Kopp gone this is really important. Malik Reneau has transformed his body this offseason. Expected to have a big, big year. Gabe Cupps' work ethic is notably impressive.
  3. 19-26 with no turnovers and a 157 QB rating for the season turned "desired" into "merited."
  4. Time to eviscerate, evacuate, exterminate, and invisible-ate any memory of that Kensucky visit and remind Boogie why Woody is his guy.
  5. Sad news - all my best to you and your family Natty.
  6. Take a look at the 1:02 mark. He may not be tall, but he dunks off two feet from a jump stop with no problem. That, and long arms (that 1:30 mark steal is so good) make him a 'taller than his height' player. This is an impressive highlight reel for physical abilities, though the jump shot looks a little 'shoulders-forward' to my untrained eye:
  7. Azavier Robinson 100% also. That young man has next level and then some balance, strength, and quickness. 7.6 rebounds per game as a 6'1" sophomore pg in high-level Indy basketball? Yikes that's impressive. Both of those young men will be priorities for 2025. Unlike recent years, that's going to be a stacked in-state class, which is great news for IU.
  8. Yes. As it should be. And he most certainly will not be criminally prosecuted; I cannot imagine what he could possibly be criminally prosecuted for!
  9. Under his version, it is a completely consensual relationship, including with an admission to the phone sex. Since Brenda Tracy was a contracted, paid vendor, a married coach that is having a sexual relationship with a paid sexual assault prevention consultant is not a winning formula for Tucker given the morals clauses of his contract IMO. Dropping the "people have told me her life is a sham" to an ESPN reporter won't do him him any favors either. And that's his best path to a settlement.
  10. Unless he is criminally charged and prosecuted…Does MSU let’s say pay out $20,000,000 plus attorney fees (more or less) million No. WAY too much, and while criminal prosecution would do a lot toward a non-payment, it is in no way necessary for MSU to attempt to zero him out, or settle for very little if they think he clearly violated the morals clause of his contract. Is any or all of it taxable? Yes, it is all taxable.
  11. I’ve heard his game is a mix of Michael Jordan and Michael Scott
  12. At the risk of getting hate because of the significance I am attaching to Bill Self, if he is interested in point guard A Robinson, I’m that much more excited about Robinson‘s high mutual interest with Indiana.
  13. After MSU got the investigative report in July? Absent info to the contrary, 100% agree with you. MSU was probably hoping for a settlement with a non-disclosure agreement. The media reporting this week blew that clean out of the water. ******* dirtbag weasels are they.
  14. ^This^^ You don't suspend someone just because a complaint is made, unless there is an imminent threat. Otherwise, anyone with an axe to grind could take out a public figure just by making the complaint. And in the grand scheme of things, the allegation that he sexually harassed Ms. Tracy does not constitute imminent threat, especially when she states in the complaint that there had been no contact between them for months. The longer articles on this make it clear that the investigator(s) were prepared before they conducted interviews; they'd compiled travel, expense, and phone records. That's necessary to conduct thorough interviews. Getting those records can take real time - sometimes months.
  15. Meh; Liam McNeeley is not the type of recruit to be swayed by sudden circling of sharks, and his entire family is D1 sports experienced, well-situated to be 'shark-repellent.' If he's decided it's us? It will be us.
  16. Oh good lord what a dirtbag. He was already done at MSU. The additional info will determine whether he can get another job ... ever. And if other lawsuits or complaints from other women don't come out soon I'll be pretty surprised.
  17. How about Assistant Coach Ali Patberg! https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/ali-patberg-adds-assistant-coach-title-for-iu-womens-basketball/ Not. Too. Shabby. Congrats to an all-time Hoosier great.
  18. Both of them were excellent last week (though against inferior competition). Happy problem to have, and happy to see that TJ (not D) is the starter.
  19. I betcha he does and I'm good with that. If a young man has integrity and flat-out promised he'd take the visit, then he should keep his word and we want players who keep their word. I suppose in a best case scenario would be if he made no such promise to Texas, called Texas and said that he has already verballed to IU but not announced, and is wondering whether Texas still wants him to show up for the OV (odds are they would still want him to).
  20. It's like many employment settlements; a balancing test of how ironclad is the 'no-payment' clause? vs. how much is it worth to break quickly and cleanly without litigation?
  21. I guess. But isn't that not how it works now? Why not just give the player a large NIL deal and let him share it with whoever he pleases? Does the kid need someone on the court and in the locker room with him to be satisfied? f so that is a really bad idea by ASU. They're way better off finding a kid that simply wants a big bag of money. Or even better, a kid that truly wants to play for their program and is happy about a big bag of money as a bonus.
  22. ^^This^^ Beyond the complete lack of judgment or human decency by Tucker, this is a dream come true for MSU as an institution. They were so stuck with a crappy football coach with a ridiculously expensive long-term contract. And now they're not.
  23. Dave, you are a good man. That's a hell of a read right here. Ima gonna turn the volume down when I'm in the car alone in your honor and as really good advice. ps: it's not you...Spyro Gyra ain't it.
