Tom Allen is our current day Hepp (but much better at defensive strategy). Tons of energy, loves Indiana but in a much better situation in terms of inherited talent. Glad he's at the helm. Ramsey is > Diamont as many pointed out. Tad less quick, but better passer and won't snap like a twig in a slight breeze. But I'm not certain he's the guy...YET. He missed the receiver on a couple out routes that Lagow normally hits (we are comparing a RS-Sr to a RS-Frosh...experience is a factor here too) but will likely come with time. it doesn't appear that Lagow has improved much from last year. He still appears scared under pressure which leads to poor decision making and he is still staring down receivers (this one drives me nuts). QB controversy? Yup. Is Ramsey the answer? Not sure. Ellison will be very special! Where the frig is Tyler Natee? Is he injured? I didn't see him on the sideline at all...not sure if he even traveled with the team. It would be nice to have his full-back-esque size when we need 2-3 yards. UVA started out the game really trying to pick on Fant. I don't know when people will learn that Fant is one of the best cover-corners in the NCAA. It was nice to hear Ball's name called yesterday. I didn't hear much from him in the OSU game. Was hoping that it was a fluke and it appears that was the case. BTW...the UVA campus is beautiful and Scott Stadium is a great place to watch a game. Friendly fans, great band, solid atmosphere. Sat next to Ellison's sister. Very friendly. It was Military Appreciation Day (Thank you all!). They interviewed a WWII Vet on the sidelines during a TV timeout. Very touching/emotional. Lee Greenwood sang God Bless the USA during the half. Nice treat. Go Hoosiers! Take care of the non-con softies and prepare for the big boys in conference. We can't afford to lose the next two. Period. Must wins? Definitely. If we want to bowl...WE MUST WIN!

Went out again this morning but it was pretty choppy. Stayed in the bay and only fished for about an hour. It was wind against the tide so getting any movement was next to impossible. Pulled up a small black bass and sand shark. Nothing worth taking pics of.

My father in law knew but I had never heard of it. I saw the silver side as it neared the top of the water and thought it was a baby fluke. Fished about 3 miles out today. Fluke, seabass, skates, sea robins, and Porgies were hitting. Came back with 3 in the box though. 1 fluke and 2 Porgies.
