Indiana Women's Basketball has announced the signing of four to the Class of 2023 in Jorie Allen (Bedford, Ind.), Shaila Beeler (Indianapolis, Ind.), Mackenzie Holmes (Gorham, Maine) and Arielle Wisne (Thornton, Colo.) The class features a pair of five-star commitments and is ranked 18th overall in the country by ESPN. The class also ranks 12th in the nation and fourth overall in the Big Ten according to the Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and third in the Big Ten by AGSR. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2018/11/13/indiana-womens-basketball-signs-four.aspx Jorie Allen A five-star prospect out of nearby Bedford, Indiana, Allen has led Bedford North Lawrence to three sectional championships and is on pace to break the school's all-time scoring record, having amassed 1,358 points heading into her senior season. As a junior, Allen averaged 17.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 2.7 assists per game as BNL won a Hoosier Heritage Conference championship along with a regional championship. She has averaged double figures in all three seasons of her high school career with 16.1 points as a freshman while adding a double-double average as a sophomore (17.7 ppg., 10.3 rpg.). Other honors for Allen include a three-time IBCA All-State selection, three-time HHC All-Conference, ICGSA All-State First Team, AP All-State and Indiana Junior All-Star. She is rated as the No. 52 recruit by ESPN's Hoopgurlz, No. 51 by Collegiate Girls Basketball Report, No. 72 by ProspectsNation and No. 77 by AGSR. Allen played with the Indy Lady Gym Rats AAU team. Shaila Beeler Beeler, a 5-foot-7 guard from Indianapolis, is another highly ranked prospect for the Hoosiers who led Warren Central to its first state championship in 2018. During the Warriors' state run, Beeler averaged 15.2 points, three rebounds and six assists per game as they finished 20-7 overall. She is a three-time All-State selection, three-time all-county honoree, Warren Central's Freshman of the Year (2016) and Female Athlete of the Year (2018). As a freshman, she averaged 15.0 points per game to go along with five rebounds and four dishes per contest. Beeler was invited as one of 35 athletes to USA U-16 Trails in 2017 and was named an Indiana Junior All-Star last season. She also played with the Indy Lady Gym Rats AAU team. She is rated as the No. 19 recruit by ProspectsNation and a three-star recruit from ESPN Hoopgurlz. Mackenzie Holmes Holmes is another five-star recruit for the Hoosiers from Gorham, Maine as she led Gorham High School to two state championships and a state runner up finish last season. She averaged 21 points per game, 13.2 rebounds, 5.2 blocks and 2.8 steals per game as a junior as she is a three-time first team All-SMAA selection. Holmes is a two-time SMAA Player of the Year and selected twice to the all-defensive team. She played AAU with the Maine Firecrackers and is rated as the No. 53 recruit by ESPN Hoopgurlz, No. 52 by Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and No. 131 by AGSR. Arielle Wisne Out of Horizon High School in Thornton, Colo., Wisne is a 6-foot-5 center who averaged 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game as a junior. She helped Horizon to Great Eight all three years and a No. 1 state ranking multiple times as they went undefeated in Front Range League play two years in a row to earn two conference titles. Wisne is an All-Conference selection and named the Hawks' Most Improved Player while leading the league in blocks. She played AAU with BC Denver.

They were picked to finish seventh overall in the Horizon League this season and finished 15-16 overall in 2017-18. IU leads the all-time series with Oakland, 3-0.
