I'm sorry but how in the world did this not go in.

I was actually at the game. I've had season tickets with my dad since I was five. Unfortunately we weren't low enough to storm the court with everyone but we eventually did make our way down to the less crazy court. It's hard to remember when seeing it in person, it happened so fast. I just remember almost tackling my dad.

Our seats last year were the ones directly behind the one that was smashed by the ceiling panel. Ours for the year of the Kentucky game were a few rows higher but same general section

So basically, according to the author, The Assembly Hall is #34 because of the food and access. Well, I can't disagree about the access part, but I'd rather not go to a basketball game with a bunch of folks whose only concern is can I get some exotic food at the game.
 
The Assembly Hall is what college basketball SHOULD be about. On campus, largest student section in the country, knowledgeable fan base, not sponsored by a local food company/department store, and full of history.
 
You can have the YUM! Center, Kohl's Center, FedEx Forum, whatever. Give me The Assembly Hall anyday. One trip and you will know that that whole article was BS.

I stopped coming on here a few weeks after the IU loss to Illinois because I just couldn't stand reading bashing about Crean in every single thread I went into. No matter what it was about. I have slowly eased my way back into the site this month and it's still here even after all those months. People just need to understand that only under few circumstances should you be bashing someone this much after he just brought Indiana back on top. Getting unbearably annoying.
