I get it , its been difficult watching Purdue have Smith for the last 3 years and us not really having a true scoring PG since Yogi but again we probably already have our leading scorer with Tucker. to compete at Big ten Level we really are in need of an athletic scoring wing at the 3. Dix would fit that or a Jaden Akins / AJ Storr at Wisconsin type of player. pair that with a knock down 3 pt shooter at 2 and were rolling Enright would be a solid starting PG IMO . Experienced, takes care of the basketball, and can play defense cutting off straight line drives and drawing charges

Depends on what you put around him . We will have Tucker a high volume shooter / scored . Add a scoring post big / with a decent scoring wing and lights out shooting 2 guard then you don’t need anything more than 8-9 ppg and 7 ast out of a starting PG. I think of like what Tony Perkins was for Iowa with the Murray / Garza teams .

Yeah but I think after there 3rd coaching search in 21 months they may go the successful coach protégé route and hire Jerrod Calhoun from Utah State. He was on Huggins staff at UC as a student assistant and then as an assistant coach at WVU for 5 years. BUT I could also see them worrying about UC opening up next year if Wes Miller gets canned and he dips after a year like DeVries. So they may try to make him committ to a massive buy out they know UC can't afford so maybe Calhoun stays put for another year. There situation is WILD

I appreciate the hell out of you guys man as a reformed peegs guy it made the last couple of weeks so much more fun to monitor and think about the idea of a someone like a Stevens who could potential take this program immediately back into he stratosphere nationally. Also helped this teacher make it through the last couple of days of school before spring break which can be maddening ! haha It definitely started to wear though I'm glad it came to an end when it did would love to know in some more details things that happened BUT understand if you don't want to/ can't share. ultimately I have no idea where the ceiling is with someone like DeVries I don't think anyone can claim too , but I do have a feeling and a WAY better one than I did with Archie or Woodson that we have solidly raised the floor of the program. Be interesting to see where we goes in terms of assistants that could play a big factor. Does Kory come with him knowing this is there any sort of issue there? Does he bring back Fife? Does he get Michael Lewis to leave BSU and come be a top assistant? I just cant see him bring Ostrom or Frazier with him and he knows he needs Indiana grassroots ties.
