MAYBE you are willing to shell out a bit more for Drew (Because he's won a National title) but anyone else is gonna get top tier resources but are gonna need to also prove they can handle and deliver with those resources. Says he doesn’t believe any coach beside Stevens would get 10 million a year out of IU 4) Brownell is still in the mix . He’s thinks that’s true 5 ) the former athlete committee has been told the job has been filled . He doesn’t think that’s true and says he’s never heard of it before .

He's no where near SD 1st choice because he knows IU fans are not shortsighted and will look past just the last 2 years especially considering how down the ACC has been. He is the hire that makes me go "yep that's IU basketball the last decade" so I don't think that's who it would be I think Dolson VERY determined to shake that very trend BUT unfortunately it also wouldn't surprise me

Mid Major coaches (in todays college hoops environment where tur-around time is 1-2 seasons tops) are like betting red or black on the roulette table basically 50/50 (yes I know about green 0 or 00 has SCREWED ME MANY TIMES). IU already did that and lost to the house with Archie, I'm not against an Mid-Major guy and who knows you could very well find "THE" coach for the program in that route, but the pressure cooker that is IU baketball right after the last 8 years is TOO much for ANY mid-major guy right now. The one little bit of Info we have gotten straight from Dolson and the AD office since the start of this search makes it clear to me IDK who it will be but if it isn't Stevens (which again ill buy its not easily) it WILL be a sitting P4 HC.

Which is NOt going to be the case the fan base would riot if he hired a mid major guy not coaching in the tourney lol Now he’s trying to project He’s it’s McCallum or something like that . They won’t be coaching in the tourney because they are taking the IU early for portal dates ……… no way in hell McCallum or any coach would ever leave BEFORE their team losses in NCAA tourney even if they had a shot at the IU job I’m willing to buy pretty easily it’s not gonna be Brad . comparing the NCAA tourney to coaches leaving a FB program before a nothing burger of a bowl game is wild bro. A coach leaving before coaching his team in the NCAA tourney would be more like a Football coach leaving before his team plays in the first round of the college football playoffs. No coach in there right mind will leave before exiting the NCAA Tourney don't care what the portal dates are . Plus NCAA tourney runs equate to potentially massive pay raises So you think the coach is announced before the NCAA tourney (as you said yesterday) and that would mean IU would NOT be hiring a coach that coaching in the NCAA tourney and also is NOT what most would consider a big name ................. if that's the case than Dolson might as well light a match in the middle of SSAH and poor a gallon of gas on top of it LOL
