Fire Coach Woodson (or contemplate retirement) Thread

I think there was something today that changed the original timeline...

What are the odds that we get a "hump" somewhere within an announcement if there is one?

Fire Coach Woodson (or contemplate retirement) Thread

I think there is something to be said about this feeling. I do not remember the fan base being this negative during the Archie end, and that is probably because Archie's teams had no hope or chance. This team should be in the tourney. This level of hope will be killed quickly if we do not do it like football and absolutely clean house and start anew. Hoping today goes smoothly to plan and around 4-6 PM we are all talking about the hope and great things to come (even though we are all anxiously waiting on the JY23 bomb).

I figured it out. AH just wants will Wade because McNeese state is going to be the double digit seed that knocks Purdue out of the tournament this year.

Anyone Still Want to ‘Fire Scott Dolson’?

Scott Dolson's first real hire is Curt Cignetti, and he is being blamed for a decision that doesn't matter? If we had a staff tomorrow consisting of RMK, Coach K, Wooden, and Jesus Christ himself, this team would be playing in Dayton on tuesday. Scott Dolson has done a great job with Football and I think we should be very excited with this opportunity and trust SD to do the right thing.

Something to think about, WHEN Woodson is done, what happens to Zrno, and Sisley. I would be very interested to see if you see some decommitments or if they stay firmly committed, then I would like to believe a plan had been in place long enough for Zrno to choose IU for that reason. Please let me know your thoughts as next year could be insanely fun with a 9-3+ Football team and an IU Basketball team with a new house and a matchup against UK in Lexington.

Who will be HC at IU to start next season

Rumor has it Tom Crean is waiting for us over the hump, and Woodson has been trying to get there for 4 years, but just cannot get these guys to understand to be in a position to get over the hump. In all seriousness, it has to be BS, Beard, Pearl, McCollum, or a proven coach at the D1 level otherwise people are going to lose it and there will be a "Fire **********" thread the moment he is hired.

Let me just propose something here. Yes Stevens is a GM, and if he wanted to be a HC, what are even his possibilities that would be on level or better than IUBB? He doesn’t want the monotony of coaching a team like the Wizards. Being an NBA HC is less coaching more motivating. If he wanted to get back into being a HC, I would love to see what landing spots are on our level or better.
  9. Given next years schedule, and if basketball strikes out on the likely best candidate, a 2nd CFP appearance is not impossible or improbable. 2 years of CFP appearances in a row turn us into a Football School, not a Cinderella.

We just gotta get some of us true fans over the hump and in a position to unite our thoughts on a head coach.
  11. Purdue - 88 Indiana - 67 MW tells us we still need to get these guys to understand how to get over the hump
