What is bad about getting so enthralled with recruiting is that we forget that we already have 11 players who said yes to IU. There are 11 guys who have represented IU in a fine manner and should be proud of them. We get to caught up in who.says no to IU over who says yes.

Just put it this way, if you take all the top players from the power 6 conferences out of the college game. If the top players in college basketball were bench players from power 6 conferences or the top mid major players . If those players were at the blue blood programs and were winning you would still see the same attendance and viewership.

In college sports the name on the front of the jersey is the product. Players come and go but the one constant is the name of the school.

If this story is true about the agent and this is what we are in for them changes need to be made. I just wish they let anyone who isn't interested in going to college just let them go to the NBA or the G league. I wouldn't care if all the top 50 players in a class goes pro. I just want some resemblance of the college game I loved. Nobody made these kids go play college basketball and they seem entitled thinking they deserve the whole world. M Maybe I should go to the CEO of my fortune 500 company and let them know I deserve a bigger piece of the pie. Since I am the one out there doing a lot of the work I should get as much as the CEO.

Still say things like this will eventually bring an end to college sports. It is coming to a point where I care less and less about the game. It has happened to me with the NBA where the last 15 years I rarely watch games besides the Pacers. I have probably watched a total of less than a half hour of this year's playoffs.
