I think that 12-14 minute run in the 2nd half is what Woodson envisioned before the season starting, MM hitting 3s, X playing under control, Ware rebounding if not scoring etc plus hitting foul shots. It was an amazing run and fun to watch them take the lead ... although ... I thought they pulled the plug too soon in the last 3 minutes and it was going to cost them the game. I am glad IU won, I hate losing any game, or anything.

I will be tuned in to see which team shows up. Four days off, what did they accomplish? Will they be playing motivated while hearing the social media buzz that their coach might not be back next year? Did that hear that for the Wisky game? Maryland never led in the last game at AH, got pounded on the boards 46-30 and were horrendous 2-16. Along with that IU only scored 65 points at home. Does Maryland's home court make the difference? Vegas seems to think so.

The times I have seen him play, he rarely gets the ball, he gets lost on defense and commits stupid fouls. The last game vs IU in Assembly Hall he did not hit a shot 0-5, 0-3 from 3, had 3 fouls and one less turnover than rebound. In 16 B1G games he has gone scoreless in 4 of those games and only averages 4ppg in B1G play .... I kinda doubt it will be "Geronimo Time".

Well I am calling it a night down here in SW Indiana and I am making this post AS A SUGGESTION. It is NOT related to Fire Mike Woodson but it relates to Uniforms for IU and their recruiting strategy. The name should be changed to "Portal Hoosiers" ... take "Indiana" off the jerseys and add "Portal-Potties" ... OR ... call them The Portal Potties and eliminate the Indiana Hoosiers. I know it's late, but I am sober and I won a **** load of money today and tonight at the local casino crap table (no humps on that table for sure, flat as hell) ... so there's that. Now that I look at this post it is bad ... but I had to get the idea out there for more discussion or criticism later. YET ... this post is not as bad as those awful Fear of God uniforms .... good night and Steubenhoosier, get some quality sleep tonight and come back strong tomorrow.

Im an old man and I never take offense to old man comments made anywhere. This is a forum. Opinions and Jokes are part of it. I didn't fall down and cry the other day when someone joked I might have hemorrhoids because when I tried my morning crap it would not get over the hump ... it was all in a joking manner. I suggest you take a break from this thread, seriously.

Thankfully I am retired, a professional doorman for my three dogs as they go in and out many times. So I have time to post OTHERWISE I would be posting at work. I've seen myself do that too much LOL

I did notice that Woodson was wearing The Fear of God athletic shoes some of the team wore. If he isn't wearing a suit on the sidelines I am not sure he has any clothes that are not black. Seems to be his favorite color. You would have thought that Adidas could have splurged and pass out The Fear of God sweats for her to wear.

After what the fan did last night in Greenfield, I see that as a sign things are going to get ugly before his final game of this season. Maybe even uglier than expected. Since fans were booing a couple of games ago what is it going to be like on Senior Night if he loses the two games before that MSU game? Yes, they could win all three but that is very very doubtful. Minnesota at home and MSU on the road are playing for something. They need to win as much as possible thus will be motivated to beat IU. That is nothing new to people on this forum, you already know that. To me that photo showed a coach that didn't want to be there. From Bloomington to Greenfield is not a convenient drive. It's little over an hour drive, mostly on interstates 69, 465 and 70 over to Hwy 9. Seems easy. But really, a Friday night, both dressed like they planned to stay on their couch at home and watch movies instead of going out in public?? You can't tell me he wanted to be there and he sure wasn't taking a keen interest in watching Mullins play. He has already seen enough to know if he wants him at IU or not. The middle of March or April cannot get here fast enough. I can't wait to see what happens but in the meantime. I am going to kickback and watch the s***show that is about to take place. Either way, win out or lose out ... things are going to get crazy between the IU fans, the coach and the players. You have to remember, to the team, although they claim they don't read social media, they do read and they do respond on X with either comments or retweets. I don't follow any current players on X but word spreads fast when they do respond. .... Miller Kopps sweatshirt at their practice last weekend said it all ..... Indiana vs Everybody "down the homestretch they come ..... "

Those Graves boys had an uncle (Rusty Miller) that played at Switz City in 1974, led the state in scoring. The current WRV school is at the old Switz City school for those that don't know.

Those teams were a joy to watch. I am happy that I was able to see all of them in person.

I was able to talk to Bill Walton about that game and the foul called on Downing. (terrible call) It was in a small vegetarian restaurant in Encinitas CA. He was visiting his brother in Del Mar and rode his bike up the coast to Encinitas. When I asked him about that play and the bad call on Downing ... he did not comment but gave me a big big grin. At that time he was a RMK fan but later turned, where he didn't like him. I think that conversation took place around 1978. I had a feeling that he knew he got away with one. (foul)

Hard to choose, that 75 team was better than the 76 team but IMO you can't beat the 81 team ... monster team with depth. Still holds the record for average margin of winning in that tournament.
