  1. At some point Sisley has to start taking minutes from Devries. Tucker is a complete defensive liability and to be completely honest his effort & energy are awful. Without trying to be a hater, the team is better when he's out unless he's on an absolute heater (of course he'll ruin it by shooting a needless 45' 3 for a heat check). He is my least favorite player since Jeremy Hollowell
  2. IUFB is so insane that I, a lifelong diehard IUBB fan, totally forgot IUBB plays tonight until my wife just reminded me. Who cares about basketball - WE ARE THE EMERGING SUPERPOWER
  3. Ok it’s been 10 minutes where’s the next commitment?
  4. At this rate you have to wonder if players are contacting IU instead of the other way around
  5. Beebe was the most impressive back on this years team before injury imo. I think Martin is an absolute stud as well. Hope we can retain both DB room isn’t as desolate as I anticipated either. Serious talent for the underclassmen, which probably led to Knighten transferring. IU will return: Sharpe, Baldwin Jr, Jah Jah Boyd, Ferrell, Gandy, and seemingly have replaced Boykin’s role in the WI transfer. If Ponds returns the DB group is a transfer away from being complete. LB room needs 1 transfer. Owen Long would’ve the Homerun to complete. DT needs 1 transfer & DE needs complete overhaul. IUFB is not losing a ton for a team full of 26 year olds as SEC twitter likes to say Edit: as I typed this IU added DE STUD position transfer from KSU
  6. Totally reasonable assumption. Let’s break this down LT - Smith? LG - Lynch C- RG- Evans RT - Ajani Depth: Greer, Lawrence, Wilkin Then you have several other FR who RS this year. IU will need a transfer Center and starting LT if Smith leaves. Is the consensus that Smith is gone?
  7. OL needs a pickup or two but really IU in a good spot considering FR/incoming FR. 3-4 returning starters/contributors
  8. Time for little brother and Khobe Martin to run it down their throats
  9. He’s been hurt for more than a month but Ponds breaking his ribs was the final blow
  10. That money’s going to dry up fast in the next decade anyway. The existing element of the fanbase who has seen IU be consistently good is aging out, while the rest of are drifting away from caring at all. IU admin took a 20 year job of killing IUBB fandom for an entire state and generation. Levels of ineptitude so high that you have to wonder if it was intentional. To lead IUBB to 2 tournaments in a decade takes considerable negligence
  11. Without Coach Cig being a football messiah Scott Dolson would be packing his office up with DDV in a year or two
  12. Listen I’m going nuts on here and it’s not all incredibly reasonable but I would like to put out there my expectations aren’t like Championship yearly but simply the illusion of a chance. Give me a top 20 team 3/5 years, fun high-paced basketball, and I’m the biggest fan there is. Tom Crean 2011-2015 is the peak of IU basketball this century - Chew on that!
  13. 15,000 players in the portal, $10-$12M & he didn’t have a better option? Come on
  14. Never thought of it that way. From the outside that has to be fireable offense. Fireable with cause for stupidity
  15. Your off-season assessment has been correct. We hold onto tradition and a faint IU brand strength that in reality is not there. We don’t have the pockets, presence, or success to be who we think we should be. For the first time in my life it has occurred to me that IU is average at best as a program
  16. We can talk about missing on McCollum, which is true, but we have to acknowledge the ineptitude by IU admin for keeping Woody while Dusty was on the market. We have to acknowledge ineptness of hiring Woody, who was all by all measures untenable by all programs NBA/CBB alike. We can acknowledge the massive whiff on Archie. And if you want to go further into history, what are we doing with Mike Davis? I could keep going with absolute stupidity but I will hold it. IU administration is literally bottom tier. Without Bob Knight, IUBB is a bottom feeder
