IU Ladies Basketball current 2025-2026 Rag Tag roster stands at 12 which includes a couple previously injury players…..makes for another thin roster….unless one or two high quality players are going to be added. Current big ten finish with this RagTag roster for 25-26 over is top half (1-9)big ten and under is bottom half (10-18) of big ten regular .

So is T. Moren going to take a 2025-2026 ‘Rag Tag’ team and make ‘Cardiac Kids’ out of them?

Not sure exactly why L.S. is no longer with IU Ladies. However, the success came from players that were recruited from when Box was here. And he was a players coach. Seemed players really like him and respected him because he knew what he was doing. Players spoke highly of him upon his departure and were congratulatory.

IU Ladies definitely need another accomplished front court 6’2” player as one of their best players that as April 23 at noon they don’t have.

Kubek/Maryland IU not listed as possible landing spot…..but IU Ladies could really benefit from this one.

Was it agreed that if DeVries is successful that would mean high character IU significant winning basketball program. However, if DeVries doesn’t work out Brad Stevens said give him a call.

Get Kubek or similar player from transfer portal.(has to be as good)….if not then insert tier 2 player as starter based on progress. Zania Noyan Shay Beaumont (healthy?)…may be catch up period Tier 2: Makalusky, Stotjin, Kiaku Tier 3: Wiseman, Caffey, Spreen Tier4: Kadlecova, Fenn, Sandvik ?? After starters tier 2 will play a lot of minutes and may or may not become starters. Tier 3 will play based on progress. Tier 4: play sparingly

And it’s Alabama for Timia Scott….. in this game of musical chairs that money matters along with fame and fortune and power house programs. sidenote: if she works hard surely Chloe Spreen has to be as good as her…it’s not like Spreen has never played before.

Makalusky is going to go through adjustment period for speed and physicality in big ten. I think she will gain valuable experience in several preseason games that are on a lower level than big ten. Higher level preseason teams ever how many….Makalusky will probably some struggles….but who won’t struggle on this Rag Tag team? There will be much improvement over the course of the season. on this team Noyan has to be a starter.

I expect another one or two additions to this ‘Rag Tag’ roster. A unique T. Moren coaching characteristic even when teams were her best teams….is usually hardly ever over powering but teams are always capable of performing well even performing well for extended periods of time. It shows off her and coaching staff coaching and leadership ability that has created dedication, high character, commitment of players/teams while in the program….. though there have been some high level recruited players the overall grade over extended years is probably at a B grade.

IU Ladies Basketball definitely needs an Allie Kubek.

There is more than one way to get more athletic, physical, bigger. Coach Teri Moren has proven she is distinguished in coaching the right kinds of guards as she was a guard herself….and Tyra Buss.

IU Lady transfer portal players have sized down to new homes now thus far except Henna Sandvik….no info on Henna yet…and Garzon who sized up….not sure it was in her best interest regarding statistical regression or progression.

Given knowing how to competently coach them I would play the percentages with a team of 5 and 4 star players (maybe a couple of 3 star players if there is room).
