  1. Michigan State Ekh and Brookyn Rewers 6’3” or 6’4”in transfer portal.
  2. How does that work…could she come back to IU? Or another college? Or is she pro status ineligible?
  3. If I am not mistaken it was a big ten crew.
  4. Equality Theory: The Equality term gets thrown around in many life areas nowadays. I was at the game last night and to me it looked as though refs officiated game wanting to keep it equal…meaning this: 1. Called game to neutralize home court advantage, crowd support for IU Ladies and IU band (IU won the battle of the bands). 2. Fouls and no calls benefited Miami more than IU. Examples (a). Parrish standing straight with hands straight up and Hardin flops on 3 ball resulting in 3 made ft’s for Miami (Parrish though she may commit fouls it seems to me that refs pick on her more than her share neutralizing some of her good plays) (b). Berger on the run after stealing a pass no call as Berger falls to the floor resulting in Miami rebound. (C). when Miami got a questionable call against them IU would just get the ball possession (a lesser benefit). (d). Holmes getting challenged physically and no foul call on missed shot 3. Refs seemed to conference in conversation at every time out having discussions. Those are just a couple examples among others including letting a couple chaotic plays go which favored to let Miami being aggressive, playing confidently with some swagger and setting game tempo. (It crossed my mind if there wasn’t Vegas money involved)….some of my thoughts in observing human behavior.
  5. The IU Ladies basketball program Under T. Moren, staff, and players 2022-2023 had a great season winning the regular Big Ten Championship. And ended at 28 wins and 4 losses. I don’t know anyone who would not have taken that before the season started. With the excitement of winning brings higher expectations. IU Ladies basketball continues to climb the steps one by one. Not overnight but continues to walk north. Miami played with confidence and swagger, played physically, press kept IU Ladies slowed down, played better defense, (other teams seem to be playing better defense than IU Ladies lately though T. Moren hangs her hat on defense) IU Ladies did not make things happen in their favor lately, quicker to the ball and rebounds (including offensive), Should have Holmes started and played some vs Tennessee Tech? Miami hit 3 balls and ft’s (I thought IU Ladies were suppose to be a 3 ball and high scoring team. Refs made some costly foul calls and no calls that were costly to IU Ladies more so than Miami and Miami took advantage of most of their opportunities tonight. As Holmes goes so goes IU Ladies 2022-2023. After all…She is First Team All American.
  6. How GOOD IS MACKENZIE going to be in quarter 4? Equals a win…when she is rolling it opens things up for everyone else or the opponents have paid.
  7. IU Ladies Attack with guards and whatever happens…happens
  8. Agree. What play did Holmes get injury in Michigan State game? Or is it injury or her knee condition flared up again?
  9. Defense is really bothering IU Ladies. Miami is really playing off IU crowd and having a party. However, South Florida did the same thing to South Carolina first half but South Carolina led by 4 at the half. Conclusion, 4 points for Holmes. Miami inferior inside players are killing IU Ladies, Miami guards are hitting 3 ball and everything for IU is challenged.
  10. Miami quick 2 or 3 times more than IU Ladies and playing physical.
  11. She is skipping, hopping, running, and maneuvering short distances in warm ups. IU Lady Hoosiers look to be in a good mood.
  12. Thanks. Was that the first game without any kind of wrap? Garzon warming up inside 3 ball range 10 to 12
  13. Is Berger playing without any kind of wrap on her knee now? Holmes is moving around in warmups shooting and layups.
  14. South Carolina is beatable and there was a stretch with Holmes at her best and IU being flexible in running and playing different tempo levels IU Ladies match up well with both South Carolina and LSU. I still think IU Ladies match up well with LSU and Holmes at her best vs South Carolina. First thing’s first vs Miami.
  15. Georgia players took a couple cheap shots towards Marshall and Clark in last few seconds. (and kind of a giggle, or laugh followed). I blame it totally on Georgia players lack of character and not Georgia coach. Totally uncalled for. up until that point it was a really good game to watch for both Georgia and Iowa.
  16. And ABC showing Tennessee and UCONN showing their high school opponents…show more sweet 16 championship games and games deeper into tournament.
  17. L.M has fit in great as IU Lady Hoosier. L. M. Was great being efficient, effective and very dependable on both ends showing assertiveness. Did L.M. grow 1 inch? Last year I seen her listed at 6’2” mostly, I thought. Maybe one time at 6’3.” IU Ladies roster has L.M. listed as 6’3.” which to me that extra inch is a great thing
  18. Does Holmes play at 50% 75% or 100% (100% that would be very to unrealistic optimistic) equals great opportunities for 7 or 8 other IU Ladies from Parrish (looking for Parrish to continue stepping up her game to greatness) and the rest of the IU Ladies in game plan adjustment and strategy. Tennessee Tech game: Excellent coaching adjustment game plan and team flexibility in going from a full strength plan A to a plan B game plan even if it’s a 16 seed opponent. I expect Oklahoma State to be opponent Monday and they have played pretty close most all their games close in losses and have some decent wins. Same can be said of Miami. IU Ladies Sweet 16 Champs again.
  19. Don’t forget about Geary. I expect her to play and H.S., L.B., and M.Z.
  20. Afraid of that concerning Mack…. limited is not precautionary….that’s just wishful thinking. (IU Ladies will be a different adjusted) team especially if they can get past sweet 16 and tournament gets more challenging. All IU Ladies need to step up. Great opportunities not only for L.M….but even more so for Parrish, Scalia, Moore-McNeil, and Garzon. Expect Berger to be great. Seems there just can’t be enough depth.
