Exactly, instead of a freaking coach who just wants to recruit the highest ranked players by throwing money at them like Woodson has, recruit players to your system, culture and identity you want to play, even role players because every good teams have role players and they accept their roles

You and I are one of the few that have had the opportunity and satisfaction to witness 3 National Championships, probably only Old Fart has witnessed more, lol! I agree with this, I try not to watch Turdue, but they play the way I would love to see IU teams play, with a freaking identity of physical and mental toughness, working hard and with great basketball IQ and fundamentals. And we ain’t talking about an ex-IU guy but a coach that conveys that what our culture and identity is!

As far as running a CBB program without issues, to me Beard > Wade but they both have major skeletons in their closet.
