I do appreciate the extremely short turnaround on the troll behavior. We get quick hits for 1-2 hours to keep us addicted instead of 2 week time frames where we just stress ourselves out.

The only reason I could think (outside of planning to make yourself available): ”Hey everyone, my buyout is very reasonable, come dangle offers my way so I can leverage them for a higher salary” Maybe the thinking on his part is that 18.5 million buyout makes it completely unlikely that anyone would be able to hire him away, therefore unlikely that ISU would feel much pressure to further increase his salary.

I may have misread you, but it seemed like earlier your post said you have information from Brad’s side that tracks with what Jackal said, but in the same sentence said his info didn’t make sense. so is your information telling you that Brad is definitely a “no”, but his story doesn’t make sense, or are you saying your source on Brad’s side says that he’s still in discussion?

I think this is weird considering the line of work these guys are in. You have to think Brad Stevens talk on the boards would drive up clicks and subscriptions so it makes no logical sense that he is shutting it down and forbidding it.

Hey I want it to be for your reasons much more, just pointing out that the president of the Raptors was also spotted at this game so there is a reasonable alternate explanation

I think I saw that Masai Ujiri of the Raptors was there as well and they were scouting Rasheer Flemming who is a projected first round pick next year. So unfortunately there is a very reasonable Celtics explanation for this one.

The way Goodman was talking and also dropping “I’ve known him for 20 years” insinuates to me that he is privy to that buyout number possibly via private conversation with Otz. I doubt he would pull a specific number out of thin air despite how we all feel about Goodman. also I think if Goodman is bringing his name up specifically after not really giving him much focus in his initial breakdown of our opening is suspicious that maybe he has talked to him about this
