  1. Mike Woodson is watching this Oakland performance and saying, I still believe college basketball is won by playing inside out.
  2. Any chance they’d be willing to look at Chris Jans? Been pretty good everywhere he’s went but has the Bowling Green incident…
  3. Thanks for your insight. In regards to the Tuesday meeting. In your opinion, is there any chance that Friday’s events - blowout, ejection - could change anything?
  4. Re: Evans on JMV, I would recommend listening to the podcast. I was driving but in summary. He thought the low point of the year were a couple of our close wins over Army and Morehead, until the blowouts vs uconn and auburn. And then the lack of discipline from X and Gunn on their ejections were lower, and then the home losses to Penn State and Nebraska were lower, and then recognizing (in his words) 2 juniors essentially on sr night announcing they are coming back for another year, ( why are we giving them framed jerseys and celebrating their senior night if they have another year?) to then a 75 pt career scorer claiming they’re going to run it back and to chill, to then Woodson dividing the fan base with his comments that if you have a problem and don’t like what you’re seeing from this program, you aren’t a true fan. He thought that was the lowest point, until Friday night when Woody just decided he didn’t want to be there anymore and got the 2nd T. That was the lowest point, watching him quit on his team etc. Worries that it’ll be worse next year and that Woody will ruin his legacy of being a top player historically in the program and end up being booed off the court. Said he has had talks with Dolson, and implied Scott isn’t able to get rid of Woody, that he has friends in the right places backing him and maybe they’ll throw enough money at mercenaries to field a team. This did 2 things for me…reconfirmed some of our insiders here definitely get legit info, and/or Evans is on this board lol.
  5. Brian Evans is straight bringing the fire on JMV right now
  6. And now his latest comments say he has to evaluate things with his family and advisors. Either thats an attempt at getting more NIL $ or he’s really considering leaving. If you forced me to bet, I think he leaves.
  7. True but what else was he going to say right then?
  8. Officially? I’m guessing after whenever end of the year meetings are. I’m thinking those should be Sunday with the expedited timeline. Unofficially? I put the over/under at we have 7.5 spots to fill. Gone - Open, X, Walker, Ware, Banks, Gunn We’ll see - Mack, Cupps, Newton, Malik Back - Galloway, Leal, Sparks
  9. Can’t wait to run it back and chill
  10. Dumb of Hoiberg to have his starters in still. They play tomorrow….
  11. Malik’s committed 847 fouls in his two years, but if you ask him he’s only fouled 3 times.
  12. Malik with yet another DFP….Dumb F****** Play
  13. It’ll be over in less than an hour from now
  14. Tomi over 14.5 pts was the easiest bet of the year
  15. Of course an opposing coach thinks Woodson should stay
  16. I’m not sure where to post this other than the hottest thread on this site, but MODS….. can we PLEASE add the ability to block the quote of someone you’re ignoring when others reply to them?? Thanks
  17. And when asked about it at Monday’s press conference he’s going to say “Again; I’m not going to sit here and talk to you guys about daylight savings time, I’m just not. I shouldn’t have to answer to you to about that.”
  18. Which is why they’ve sucked for years and years and years.
  19. Woke up to this thought - open, X and AW gone. Gunn and Banks assuredly transfer. Ware guaranteed to go pro. Sounding more and more like Malik and Galloway transfer. Now rumors of Cupps leaving are surfacing. MM a toss up maybe between leaving to be a lifetime G league or overseas entry. Sparks all but has to stay so why would Leal stay at that point? My $ is on Newton going closer to home. Injuries and not being able to do what you left home for are difficult on a young man’s mind. We seriously could need to fill 10,11, even 12 spots. It’s going to be 2008 all over again. Maybe we’ll get 3-5 actual D-1 players who are desperate for more playing time and a check. The rest? IU will be paying kids who are walk on, $500,000 to come be a Hoosier for a year or two.
  20. “He’s not going anywhere, he’s just not!” - Mike Woodson on McNeeley
  21. He’ll always be a part of the IU family.
