  1. Just call Mike Woodson "The Closer" Finger's crossed he follows through and puts them Candy Stripes on.
  2. if Booker decided to come even if the three above were to choose IU, they'd accept Booker. They will not turn Booker away. As Booker comes in, a door opens for someone to transfer
  3. I think this pacers summer league team is ship or bust. They have very athletic guys in this group, which Chad B. mentioned they lacked on the court during the season last year. I think you'll see duarte and jackson dominate, I think Bennedict will dominate but struggle slightly with turnovers.
  4. if you can't beat em join em, right? We will welcome them too. Id be interested in adding two more from the Pac-12, give me two of Stanford, Arizona, Colorado and Oregon then the rest can join the Big12.
  5. When we were last in NY, we wore IU gear just not candy stripes. May have to change that if we make the trip for the game next fall
  6. I can dig an evening or two in the big apple wearing candy stripe pants.
  7. Brogdon is expendable. McConnell won't be moved. Can you imagine how pesky McConnell and Mathurin will be on defense? Woof.
  8. Had Brown returned to Baylor and improved his shot, he'd have been a lottery pick next year. Low risk, major upside here. He's your potential starting SF as early as the 23-24 season if his shot improves.
  9. With us building around Haliburton, Mathurin or Murray I think fit the team better. Mathurin plays off ball, doesn't need ball in his hands to be effective and can defend. Murray is your stretch 4 that can both score and defend. I think Ivey will be a fine player but would seem for him to be most successful he'd need the ball in his hands a lot which would take away from Hali.
  10. get them on campus, in a routine and start the season out strong
  11. given TJD dad history with Pacers, Indy has two 2nd rd picks(31 and 60). It would not shock me to see Indy give that promise by using that 60th pick or maybe they trade up slightly but I could easily see them giving him the promise. At that late in the draft, the odds of getting someone to play meaningful mins anytime soon is few and far between.
  12. That is fair. Consistent while not being pressured, maybe. But being pressured I don't think so. We'll see though. I'd say 70% he's returning and 30% going pro.
  13. In todays NBA game, he isn't a top 40 pick with no decent consistent outside shot. If he knocks down some outside shots this upcoming year at IU outside of the paint(assuming he returns here) he'll be a 1st rd pick next year or early second guarantee. He needs to step out and hit some shots. Of course Woody has to be on board with this which(two or three per game maybe?) I assume he would accept that given the fact that TJD would return.
  14. Love Victor but before too long he'll he chanting "Miami is his city" just like he did in Indy lol GLad to see him getting some run again.
  15. Any update on Dennis by chance?
  16. His first year at IU was more successful than any of CAM time here at IU. Time will tell, but the arrow is certainly pointing up.
  17. if Dennis commits, I think someone is out the door assuming TJD returns. Who that might be I have no idea.
  18. so are you using your inner scooby doo voice when pronouncing his name?
  19. $375K each for both Yasir and Kenya. I think Yasir got a $50K increase and Kenya got a $25K increase based on readings
  20. Kenya Hunter was lead recruiter for all three of these guys; Malik, JHS and Tamar. Don't underestimate Kenya
  21. that right there is a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad man
  22. I'd say no impact. top 25 team if TJD doesn't return, should TJD return? top 15 team imo
  23. Malik on JHS instagram live story in IU gear
