Control the boards, slow down the pace, pound it inside... Make FTs. Have to hope they have an off shooting day too... Very worried about how well Kansas moves the ball and what that means for our defensive rotations/their 3 point shooting. No X, no backcourt depth... hard to feel positive coming into this one after Auburn. Need to get off to a good start and a lively crowd to fuel the guys along the way.

Hope sitting with the stink of that loss for a full week lights a flame under them and we see real intensity on Saturday. Feels like the crowd at SSAH is usually able to will the team into at least keeping it competitive, up to a certain point anyway. Auburn was so deflating... We can't lose to the 3 big brand name non-conf opponents all by 20+. Totally embarrassing. Can you really call it "making a statement" if we just manage to lose by 10 or less? With the B10 being down, we can still make the tournament but we're not making it easy on ourselves. I think what was most disappointing about Auburn was just how brutally it exposed the deficiencies we already knew were there. We just don't have the horses in the backcourt this year to be a real threat. It can still be an entertaining/good season. All is not lost. At the same time.......... better learn from this past cycle and make sure we wrap the spring cycle with a balanced roster, equipped for the modern game.

Well... a lot of us would have taken 2-2 in this 4 game stretch of the B1G games and Auburn/Kansas, especially with X out. Dropping Kansas, we'd probably need to finish top 4 (maybe better) in conference to make the dance, which seems doable in this down year for the B1G. Well, it seems doable if we don't play like yesterday... I'm flushing that **** and moving on. We didn't show up at all so I have nothing to even say other than they better bring it against Kansas in Assembly. We're overmatched on the perimeter. I just want to see a good basketball game with effort and smart play. We all knew this year would be a process/up and down. We are limited without having another solid guard (or two) who can also shoot. If X doesn't get healthy by the start of January games and/or Woody doesn't make some serious adjustments with the rotations, this season has potential to go off the rails Beat Kansas and all is well in the world. Just don't get embarrassed at home (I hate saying that/ this being where we're at as a program). 2-0 in conference. That's what I'm focused on. That's the record that's gonna matter in the end. We got off to the right start, but they need to be killers about maintaining a top 3 spot in the conference all season. Hopefully Woody can get them locked in....

Probably, but that's why they play the game. It's a real home court advantage. Yes we obviously have several disadvantages. I'm a fan, I can't help but to be hopeful (most of the time ha)

I anticipate that Mike Woodson is currently ripping several guys new arseholes in the locker room

If things don't turn around quick in the second half... looks like our only option to help our non-con resume is going to be to PROTECT THE HALL vs. Kansas That said... it's a 40 minute game! I'll suffer through it til the end no matter how bitter or sweet

Let's go Reneau! Finally some signs of life. Let's get back to our bread and butter. Second half, we should see starting 5 + Banks/Walker only. Let's get Banks some run - enough to get into the flow of the game. Mack can sit for the most part and give guys rest/play situationally for shooting.

I take back every bad thing I've ever said about Cupps defense. Every guard in D1 is gonna get blown by every now and then. He's got such a nose for the ball and very vocal/energetic.

100000% We gotta treat this one like a must win... need a marquee non-con win. It's this or Kansas. Ideally both.

Just like that, it's a game. Ware makes us such a different team. Don't love this lineup right now, but a nice bucket from Sparks.

Mack's getting better every game, but he's still gotta figure out how to sustain the intensity on D/both sides of the ball. Stay active on the boards. Move without the ball. Don't get caught ball watching... and his closeouts could be sooooo much better with all his length.

I hope we let Banks get into a good rhythm out there. I love his ability to get to the bucket

Cupps is having his best 10 min stretch as a Hoosier. Reneau is such a bucket. Ware is special. And Indiana gets to the line.... the start of this game has been *chefs kiss* We can't let our foot off the gas at all. Keep playing hard!!!!!
