  1. Texas was moved to 3 to put Bama in. Texas should have been 4. FSU 3. Plain and simple. FSU got jobbed for money and money only.
  2. Basically just Shannon? True Top 15? I don't know. They look good. They have good pieces. Have one of the best players in the B1G. How will that fair compared to last season? I don't know. But everyone ahead of them kept losing a d they kept moving up.
  3. I definitely differ from the AP on a few teams. But it'll all work itself out eventually.
  4. Better maybe not. But Florida State did their work and won every game and won the ACC. But Clemson? Clemson is 8-4 and the committee has them in the Top 25. That's somehow bad on FSU? They struggled against Miami. But that's still a better team than USF, Auburn or Arkansas. So you're saying that FSU struggling against Boston College(6-6), Miami(7-5) and #22 Clemson(8-4) are equivalent to struggling against USF(6-6), Arkansas(4-8) and Auburn(6-6)? Texas' are more comparable I guess with Houston(4-8) and TCU(5-7). But Kansas State is #25 and 8-4.
  5. This was a crazy week to sort through. So... I went BOLD. Duke and Tennessee gonna have to win their ways back in. Duke just doesn't look any better than IU right now so.
  6. Sure. And got whooped at home by Texas, struggled to beat South Florida at home, struggled to beat Auburn, struggled to beat Arkansas, struggled to beat Texas A&M.
  7. And OSU still wasn't undefeated. And FSU will have their 2md string QB for the bowl game. Bama was the money maker. Only reason they were included.
  8. They say they pick the 4 next, but every year they pick the most deserving. Greg McElroy pointed it out on Tuesday during the CFP show and Galloway got all huffy for some reason.
  9. My opinion... 1. Michigan 2. Washington 3. Florida State 4. Texas Committee WILL put in Georgia AND/OR Bama. They can't leave out an SEC school, it's against their religion and would go against their SEC gods.
  10. Bam is a good defender. But he still gets abused on the block against guys bigger than him. Top 20-30 player in the league? Oof... Probably not. Edey would definitely struggle defensively unless a coach got pretty creative. But there's no doubt he could do damage offensively with his size and soft touch. A few centers could their own like Embiid, Valanciunas, Nurkic, Lopez maybe a few others. But a guy like Bam, Capela or Claxton are too small to do anything 1 on 1. No different than college. Edey is Yao Lite. Worth a pick for sure. Probably not first rounder as NBA teams like wasting mid-late first rounders on guys that'll do nothing. But he's definitely worth a pick. Biggest problem for the NBA, the inability to just take guys that are good at basketball.
  11. Garza and Edey are much different. And TJD and Bam are the same size. Bam would get dominated 1 on1 on the block by Edey. Just as he does any time he gets taken to the post with any good post playing center.
  12. A few of those could hold their own. Edey isn't a talent like Yao was obviously but at 7-4 300, he's just a massive that can move dudes. He'd have his way on the block with a guy like Bam though. Just like he did with TJD 1 on 1. Capela, Carter, Mobley, Allen are too small. Gobert and Towns are Charmin soft. Valanciunas could hold his own. I'm not sure if any NBA players could throw a proper post entry pass honestly. You're treating him line he's Tacko. Think more like a better Boban.
  13. Who is standing their ground? Embiid could. Jusuf Nurkic probably. Myles Turner would be interesting.
  14. Maybe so but not many NBA bigs would have an answer for him either. Not in today's NBA.
  15. Last year, like none of these fouls would have been called.
  16. NBA GMs are too scared. Just gotta follow, follow, follow. I can't wait for the day the NBA gets back to having some bigs that can work the block.
  17. If Malik would have thrown it to Cupps, Cupps was WIDE OPEN.
  18. Been pretty good all night. Too much time left to get relaxed and sloppy. Gotta tighten it up and finish.
  19. He isn't a clappy clappy boy like Allen. Watched JMU playing Coastal Carolina and hecwas ripping into dudes while up 40. He seems more like the type that'll hold the players accountable in the moment, rather than throwing them under the bus after the game.
  20. This past year's unis looked cheap. Like peewee football cheap. Adidas best.
  21. Well... Maryland isn't shooting the 3 very well. So they'll probably hit like 14 tonight as they get to take a bunch of wide open practice shots all night.
  22. Indiana good to Nike and I bet you'd see plenty of retro stuff.
