  1. I don't really care about that. He's apologized for his actions about that. Move on.
  2. Yea age isn't an issue. At 68, thats another good 10 years he could put in.
  3. Yea. Stevens, Donovan, Scott Drew or whoever else aren't leaving where they are.
  4. He went to 3 Sweet 16s in those 4 year... Indiana has been to just 4 in the last 25 years.
  5. MY Top 5 and who I want 1. John Beilein 2. Avery Johnson 3. Steve Alford 4. Dana Altman 5. Jon Scheyer
  6. The crazier thing is that Alford had made the NCAA tourney in 4 out of 5 years with 3 trips to the Sweet 16. UCLA still fired him after starting 7-6.
  7. I'm watching games no matter the coach. I just hope they win. Would Alford be great? No. Did he make a mistake at Iowa? Absolutely. But I'm sure he could give us better basketball than the trash we have to watch right now.
  8. That figures. At the time wasnt it only conference champs or something that got in? I believe Indiana actually tied for the Big Ten that year and then won a different Tourney?
  9. From what I found(could be wrong) The last time that Indiana, Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina were all unranked at the same time was in the beginning of the 1961-1962 season.
  10. The Celtics don't just move on. They moved on from Rivers after trading everyone and basically wanted to start the new era.
  11. I guess Michigan, Ohio State, Louisville and UCLA didn't get the memo.
  12. Tatum is a top 10 player and is 22. How have they missed the window?
  13. No clue. Depends who stays. If he's that bare, then it must be a crappy hire that the guys don't want to play for. Realistically we should still have Franklin, Leal, Lander, Galloway, Geronimo, Duncomb, Stewart from the current roster and commits.
  14. They have been "building" for a long time but haven't actually. They are finally getting rewarded for making the Nets look like idiots. Right now Brown is 24 and Tatum is 22. Ainge knows to build a roster around those two and always will. Because that's just what he has been successful doing. The only way Stevens is leaving is either dying or quitting.
  15. There's a future. Just have to be healthy. Kemba Smart Brown Tatum Thompson Teague Williams Theis Ojeleye They just need their young guys to come along. Pritchard, Nesmith, Langford.
  16. Under Stevens 25-57 Missed Playoffs 40-42 Lost in 1st Round 48-24 Lost in 1st Round 53-29 Lost in Conference Finals 55-27 Lost in Conference Finals 49-33 Lost in 2nd Round 48-24 Lost in Conference Finals So... Yea... He ain't leaving.
  17. Stevens ain't returning. Why would he? He has a Top 10 talent on his roster and another Top 25 guy. Tatum and Brown will keep them in a good spot and they are young. The Celtics have proven they can build a team, Stevens has zero reason to ever leave.
  18. And those Knight teams still scored more than we do now. And Knight was never scared to run if it worked. His style was about playing smart, not slow and tentative.
  19. I wonder what Golden State and Toronto were thinking before during Jackson and Casey. Obviously the NBA is different, but this team seems to have the talent to compete but a coach who has zero clue on how to unlock it.
  20. I'd say K probably has a personality enough to connect with his players. Even Knight did. Archie though.. dude just seems blank.
  21. Basically cementing the rumors of the relationship between the Pacers and Oladipo. They were that ready to part ways.
  22. Maybe we should ask ourselves if they are even good enough to care... They aren't winning us a bunch of games. Archie isn't either. But the notion that you have to start over with a coaching change is ridiculous. Ohio State didn't, Michigan didn't, UCLA didn't. So why does Indiana?
  23. I say it's time to start LaMelo Ball... Graham: 33.2 minutes, 11.9 points, 6.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 30.1% FG, 31.4% 3FG, 80.6% FT, 1.6 steald, 12.6 PER LaMelo: 25.4 minutes, 11.8 points, 6.3 assists, 6.9 rebounds, 40.6% FG, 33.3% 3FG, 69.2% FT, 1.6 steals, 17.7 PER
  24. Mine is 2(youngest is 9 months). He is absolutely insane. Kid has never watched WWE, but I swear it's just natural instincts with him. I'm not ready for him to be 3, but I'm much less ready for his sister to be his age.
