If Dakich is right we’ll never get big name coach @ IU. He said last year that IU’s bball program will never be the face of IU... per the admin, told directly to him. That’s not what they want to be known for. RMK was more powerful than the governor back in the day. That won’t happen again.

Brian Wardle---I know he's mid major, but has done a great job @ rebuilding cellar dweller in MVC. Just think if he had access to B10 recruiting. He's hard nosed defensive guy that can also coach offense AND develops his players. Players Coach.

Here is how I see our 3 top guards under CAM. I posted this last year also. RP--rated 4* out of HS has played like a 3* his whole career @ IU. AD--3* out of HS still a 3*. AF 3* star out of HS played like 3* last year 4* this year. Where is the development? That's on CAM. He recruits to fit his style of coaching. Well obviously his style of coaching is average. I really wanted CAM to be the guy IU led us to believe he was. Need I say more about that... Is it me or has anyone else noticed how soft Jerome Hunter is? Shies away from any contact on offense or defense. Everything is finesse for him. No power moves. If IU keeps playing the way they have for past 2 years I can't wait for NASCAR to start back up. It's all I watch IU & NASCAR in that order but it may change come mid January.

We need something next year. Like I've said in the past. We have 3-3star guards & 1-4 star guard, playing like a 3 star, who have not developed. Just hanging in there is not good enough. We don't have a go to guy at end of game. NONE. Haven't had for a long time.

Doesn't matter. They obviously don't respond to that. Looks good for us fans BUT What do they respond too?

I've watched a lot of Big 10 games this year and that was one of if not the worst officiated game the last 3 minutes of the year so far. Officiating in the big ten this year is probably worst I've seen ….ever. Better team won. They wanted it more. Again we were soft finishing at the rim. Guards still a step slower on defense that any guard combo in the league. We are just average still and will continue to be this year. Brad Underwood. 3 yrs. 2nd place in Big. Archie just trying to stay above cut line. Average coach average team. Underwood's kids have bought in. Not so for CAM. Now my phone is blowing up since I live in the middle of Il.

Just think how good Deron Davis could have been if not for all his injuries. He's a smart big man that can pass lights out AND has a soft touch.

Now that Race is playing great & getting extended minutes there is more video on him now. The other teams will start practicing for him. Kind of like Joey playing great in Dec. They have figured out how to beat Joey. Hope Race can play through it.
