Bit again by the third-quarter swoon. Up 10 at halftime. Extended that to 12 early in the third. Then ... I hate to say it, but I see O$U pulling away and winning easily. Hope I'm wrong.

21 turnovers. Our work against the press is absolutely atrocious. Still, we're hanging in there ... down by 2 with 18 seconds left in the third.

12-point lead. All gone. O$U now up 50-47. Turnovers and their press are killing us.

Ciezki third foul. Total flop.

Very first possession of second half -- 10-second violation. Get the ball and GO. Stop standing and dribbling.

Really good first half. Not a great end, though, as Cambridge picks Caffey's pocket and makes an easy deuce. Still -- we're up after 20 minutes. Need to avoid our third-quarter swoon. Ciezki and Beaumont carrying us. Need to get some other contributions.

Two shot-clock violations this half. Inexcusable.

We're up 21-17 after 10 minutes. Had a 19-4 lead. Then they started pressing.

BTW -- PSU and Wisky are playing on FS1. Color analyst just happens to be the greatest scorer in B1G men's basketball history. I've seen him in the studio before, but don't recall him calling games. Might be his debut ...

Oh, those Toiletmakers ... Trying to fete a former basketball player on a FB fans site. Yet the text accompanies a former football QB of the same name. And actually, it's a very sad mistake. Eric Hunter the former PU football player was from my neck of the woods -- Hampton, Virginia -- and was shot and killed there several years back.

I can see us giving a Nebraska-like effort, playing some inspired ball and keeping it close. One can hope, right?

IU No. 15 jerseys were trending several years back when Kellen Lewis was a stud freshman and most thought he was gonna be a star. I got one back then -- with no name on the back -- and it's still in pretty good shape. I'd worn it a couple times on Saturdays this season just for fun. Folks think it's a Mendoza jersey, and what they don't know won't kill them. Please don't tell anyone it's actually a Kellen Lewis jersey. LOL.

Interesting list. IMO, it's hard to argue LSU as No. 1. That team was really, really good. To go from where we were to have the No. 2 team on this list. ... I'm OK with that.

A fare-the-well from Alberto. Not gonna lie -- I'm gonna miss that kid. Guess I'm a little naive, because I thought he was gonna be our next QB1. Hoover -- you'd better be the real deal.

Interesting ... Look at the guy at the top left covering the gunner. He splits away starting at about the 25, so maybe they were planning a cross-field lateral. To say they would've scored is a bit presumptuous, however. Regardless, kudos to McCarthy for the big leg and the cover guys for smothering Toney quickly. Lots of little things go into winning!

So, for the past four years -- we were ground and pound. Almost had an aversion to 3s. This year -- we set up outside and let it fly. Can't we find a happy medium. Dorn had a great shot fake -- left his defender's jock on the floor -- then takes two steps back and launches from distance. Dude, drive to the bucket after the fake. At this point, getting any bucket would be nice.
