Eats, drinks, breathes basketball. Slightly younger. Lived this for many years as a manager and staff member so know what it's like and what to expect. Seems like he knows how to build a team to how he wants his team to play. Fun style to play. Was my next-door neighbor at Jackson heights, which Brad never was.

I guess he just didn't respect the process did he? Did he not know that this was the way we have done it from Ralph Flyold to Fred Glass. I sure as heck that the next coach respects the process. I'm going to vote right now that you sit them down after being hired and let them know this is how IU athletics handles things and get them started in the right direction. I think one other thing that has changed or hopefully, Scott is using is how Cig is treated after one winning season as a football coach. That dude can walk on water. Now go get someone who does that with basketball and we'll be praying to you on Sunday mornings

So you want us to believe the guy who barely survived last season. Even you came here and said that. Then goes on to get embarrassed in the Bahamsas so bad that he was hiding in his hotel room, then blown out on the road to Nebraska, Iowa, and at home to ILL was asking if he was going to get his 5th year. That is a little much for even you Kathy. Enjoy the rest of the season.

Kathy did the equivalent of a blow-by in the handshake line. If that was true how did at least 3 of us on here know on Wednesday that IU was going to push him into retirement? If he loved IU why wouldn't he wait like IU asked him too? A lot of things don't add up.

I'll never forget Wilson and Jeff Overton sitting in Wilson's office getting hammered, then deciding it was a good idea to go hit some pitching wedges at the new 2 million dollar scoreboard. Good times

I'm sorry but I don't have it in me to do it every day. Things will work out however they work out and we will get a good coach. But we have weeks we need to get through together as one BTB team :-)

I'm going to say this. We're not going to be talking to a guy since late November about our job coming open. Discuss salary, give NIL assurances, make sure they feel comfortable coming here this time, and then the first weekend the job opens the person goes yeah NO Thanks. Scott and his team, have put a lot of time in effort in this back-channeling to try to give us the best shot possible at landing him. He has listened, given us feedback, asked for certain things, and told us he's considering it. We haven't even gotten to the formal part of the job interview yet and won't for some time. Not like Stevens needs to interview but we're not going to sit down with him for some time. He might say no. All of you people who have said Stevens is 100% not coming to IU will be able to post I told you so. But to say we have no chance, you're flat-out wrong. Nothing is happening with any candidate this month I can tell you that. So relax watch some games, go outside and get some air. Mike Woodson is not the coach next season and an upgrade is on their way. Go Hoosiers!!
