    I know I've tried to give a fair warning. I heard the staff is scrambling because they weren't prepared for so many to talk about entering. I think they have pulled together enough to up the offer to Garzon to be competitive with others.

    Sometimes, you get info you know is good as gold; sometimes, you hear something like Yeah, maybe that is true. I could see Rice coming back but maybe he was told no thanks

    I agree. I thought we would have heard more names by now. I think it's because they are either in the running for a head coaching job or still coaching in the tourney.

    Jordy might not have a spot on the new staff but his former school is getting a new volleyball and girls basketball player. DDV is at Bloomington South, meeting the administrators and coaches with his wife and daughter.

    I have not heard this, but I was told Goode was the only one who would be welcomed back.

    Some feel like she didn't have the opportunity to live up to it. The biggest thing I hear from former women players is Moren doesn't bring the freshman along fast enough. She is old school and they need to sit and wait their turn when other teams throw them in the fire to learn right away.

    I think all of the players want more money but were not happy with how some of the things were handled during the season.

    @Trish you keeping an eye out for any IU women entering the portal today or coming days? I'm hearing it could be more than one.

    We were waiting for an answer from our first choice, who had till March 15 to decide.

    Maybe I missed it but I didn't hear that he talked to anyone before they were done playing. I believe we had given someone a March 15 deadline to decide. We made the right choice, and it all worked out like it was supposed to.

    I agree. I'm not a big fan of Pete doing the interviews. I'm probably wrong, but he doesn't come off as a former athlete or a big sports guy. He's a money guy. These interviews just don't do much for me. I listened anyway just wish they would get someone else to do them.

    Pretty much like I said that IU wanted to talk to McCollum in person in St. Louis, and he said not right now. We hired DeVries instead. Their AD goes into great detail on the process.     Well, the women have the 3rd highest attendance at the university behind football and MBB. You have to find some money for them if you want to keep what Moren has built going in that direction. You can't blame her for going to get more money

    Just me guessing but with Luke Murray getting the Xavier job, that opens the door a little bit. I've heard that DDV is meeting with the family later this week. Don't know that for sure but that is the rumor going around.

    I was told that 3 players on the women's team were making 6 figures this season. But I don't know that to be true, just going on what was said. It was very low 6 figures
