    I really think this is more of a group therapy session. And affordable at that! The world has changed around us in pretty much everything. Basketball is changing—whether for the better or worse. The only one qualified to speak on that front is his holiness, USPS. I don’t think anyone would fire Devries today but it sure would be nice to see a winning basketball team

    Personally I’m more of the opinion he knows what he has for players and can’t do what he wants so he has to accept —-this—- (gestures wildly to the team on the floor). Not absolving him of blame but it’s hard cupboard on that bench.

    No matter how you feel, at least we don’t play on a sideway basketball court like Vanderbilt.

    I would also say the losses they have are against the best teams in the league. I think the end of the year will demonstrate the gulf between the two teams. They aren’t world beaters certainly it but they’re successful playing their game which I wish we could say at this point in the season. I’m not sure what our game is frankly.

    Stiritz is the best player on the floor. I think individually IU has the next group of better players. But Iowa as a team is light years ahead. Iowa with good players will be a problem.
