Dolson is obviously doing something, and it's equally obvious that whatever he's doing is completely unreported. I don't think anything should be entirely ruled out. Doesn't mean it's likely - obviously different outcomes have different likelihoods - but there's a heavy degree of uncertainty in what will happen, and it makes little sense to definitively state something is delusional.

Yes. It's subjective and could have come from compliments in normal discussions. It's much more likely than the idea that Dolson told a reporter he's impressed with McCollum.

I think the takeaway is that what's been reported widely (McCollum and Brownell as main targets) is coming from the coaches' agents and not from the IU side. So whatever Dolson is doing has been to date very much under the radar and has not been reported on nationally.

Yeah. The sources for this are not on the IU side.

True, but on the other hand: Lunardi is probably the worst visible bracketologists out there. IU is more likely in than out, though it's hardly a guarantee. But IU is very likely ahead of several teams Lunardi has in the field as of this moment.
