Like I said earlier in the week. What Louisville did last offseason would be the perfect bench mark and goal for this upcoming season. We have to have a foundation in place. We have 3 guys and it’s still like week 2…. Will find guys. The cupboard was bare and whether Woody was coming back or not it was going to be this way. Let’s build/rekindle connections in the state. Let’s build a product for this season that can be foundation for the next 10-15 years

Just need to get pieces together and create something that will be better than what we had last year. We may not land Dix and thats sucks but like the portal will be open for a long time. We will find guys and it may not be all great year 1 but I think will have something better than just money chasers like last year.

Maybe it’s just me but like I feel like unless we want money first guys some of the best talent may not want to come to IU until IU has a product/vision for this year. Also we may not get big names and that’s okay. We need to focus on fixing the brand. We need a good season next year like Louisville had and capitalize on it next off season.

IU should have been in over: SDST Texas Vandy in my opinion after watching some of these teams I’ve kinda was like IU would beat them. Most disappointing teams of the 2025 season: IU Kansas Marquette Clemson

I might be in the minority but I think we will have a top 15ish team next year. WVU was close to making it last year. If Goode gets another year and you add a solid core from the WVU team… Then add 3-4 more players in the portal I think we could have a top 3ish Big Ten team and top 15ish team. Gotta have some things go our way but I truly believe we can have a team that’s a top 5 seed team next year if the bounces go the right way in the portal.
