I was middle ground on him because I wasn’t sure of the mid major transition. But go ahead and lump me in with the group opposite you because I’m urging people to do the same thing I’m doing: SUCK IT UP. This is where we are. Nobody has to be in love with this hire, but they definitely don’t have to whine, moan, and be ‘those’ fans. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

0708, is this your way of helping to lower our expectations for our own sake? That way when the actual non-Stevens (and also non-Moser) hire is announced we at least feel decent about it? (Please let that be the case) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

MAYBE breaking 20 pts in one half of a sweet 16 game, which as it’s been pointed out, he’s coached before. Pass. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

How often has he been called out for being a troll? It would be interesting to study his responses to that. Get someone distracted often enough and clues of some sort are likely to slip. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

I expected this. The Bucks are pretenders against any team that decides to come and compete on any given night. And that’s about their ceiling. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

To those of us worried what the national media says about the desirability of the IU job... Agree with what Stuhoo said earlier: perception is part of the reality. People fear this job. The pressure of high expectations from administration, fans, players, students, and media in a place that is absolutely craving a return to success is no small feat to withstand. There are many programs out there notably more successful than IU has been in the last two decades, but I guarantee you the media would take IU back in a heartbeat once we start finding success. They’ll never say it now, but they won’t be able to write their headlines fast enough when the time comes. Some of those others that have been relatively successful won’t get a second thought when they fall off. Just look at how much they love to talk about us now. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
