Purdue’s style of play doesn’t work in this tournament. They don’t have the guard play to win consistently. I also agree on FAU. Any athletic team who can shoot gives Purdue problems. Heck, that’s the case against most B1G teams really

Overall, IU has had a good season. Not great, but good. The absence of Xavier for all but two B1G games is a huge deal obviously. The fact that IU is going to be a 5 seed at the least isn’t too bad considering that circumstance. What eats at me is that IU went 6-0 against Purdue, Michigan and Illinois. If you would’ve told me that before the season, I would’ve said there’s no way IU doesn’t win the B1G championship. The flip side of that is the fact that IU went 0-6 against Northwestern, Iowa and Penn State. That is unacceptable. The only thing that changes this season from good to great is a run in the NCAA tournament

We are in agreement

To me, a three month long conference season shows who is the strongest over a longer period. Any team can get hot and win in successive days. Well, any team except IU of course lol

I hate conference tournaments with a passion. It makes no sense to play a conference tournament after a three month long conference season. Regular season champion is the true champion. Like you said, a money grab and nothing else. That being said, might as well try to win the damn thing since it’ll be here until the end of time

I don’t see a blowout either way. Penn State has nothing to lose. However, IU isn’t lacking in confidence this game compared to the first matchup. Those losses to Iowa and Northwestern really hurt this team at the time. I feel IU will be more prepared this time around
