I don’t Believe any rumors involving the Celtics because Danny Ainge always has a spin to it that makes the other team look bad just because he’s being stingy and doesn’t want do what it takes to improve the roster unless he’s swindling the other team.

They’ll be connected to everyone. Ainge won’t pull the trigger and then he’ll try to blame the other teams because he was trying to fleece them like always. The guys a snake.

Rabby Highlights on JMV 1. Not surprising that Franklin is in the portal to explore his options. 2. Transfers will be crazy with guys looking and moving around. 3. Dolson has talked to former players about who they want. 4. Dolson has given some former players consideration. 5. Woodson has interest and is getting some consideration plus he knows how to relate to players. Rabby said he’s a good coach in basketball terms but the question is recruiting which is what already know. He would have to put together a phenomenal staff. 6. Rabby said he has no clue who they will hire. 7. There is some interest from IU in Woodson, Cheaney, Matta, possibly interested in Moser and Muss. He doesn’t know if IU will even talk to Fife or Lewis but they might. Altman is interested. He’s not sure if Beard will get called because everyone thinks Texas will do anything to get him when Shaka is eventually fired. 8. Physicals don’t happen for coaches so the Matta report is crap but IU is or was interested. 9. Scott is running the show on this search which we already knew. Basically Rabby isn’t saying much whether he knows something or not and Dolson has talked to a LOT of people.

Snow just said he got a text from someone in the hoops world that said Moser hasn’t gained much traction with IU but there is growing chatter that Calbert will be the guy. He said he hasn’t vetted the information but it is interesting none the less.

I coach basketball

This is what I’ve been saying for a while since he’s the associate head coach.

My mind is almost always on basketball. It’s kind of my job and I’m fascinated with coaching searches and how AD’s handle them.

I’ve long thought this would go until at least final 4 week and the peegs guys just basically said that’s what they think will happen. This is going to be an interesting ride.

CALM DOWN! Remember there were flight last Thursday from Bloomington to White Plains. There was a couple over the weekend, I think yesterday there was one and now today. It’s not connected.

DD said he wants it lol

There have been flights back and forth from there several times over the last several weeks. It’s nothing.

The talk of former players pushing Woodson is crap according to DD. He did say that Woodson has some apartment deals with the Cooks or something along those lines in Bloomington. It could be the Cook family that’s pushing the Woodson’s name around hoping to get IU to jump on board.

The most notable is Muss but I’m not sure how serious talks have gone. There’s been some talk of Woodson, Matta, Beilein, and some on Fife. I think there’s more but I can’t keep track. There’s been a lot of names but nothing seems to have really heated up yet.

IU hasn’t been in contact according to Rabby, Snow, and Peegs. They’re have been back channel chatter with others but not Beard for some reason.
