Also I keep hearing people say that we don’t have shooters but here is my question? Why isn’t the staff recruiting them? Anderson is and Hunter might be but he isn’t a shooter in my mind as he is more of a scorer. In 19 Franklin is decent but he isn’t a lights out shooter and KB isn’t really a shooter imo. Mortan is the only primary target in 20 because love isn’t a shooter at all and they haven’t offered Leal? I’m not looking at 21 yet because that is pretty far off. Can someone explain to me what the offensive system is. I’m not seeing it and if it’s as simple as the players won’t run what the coaches want then there are accountability issues. I’m just trying to figure this out and all I here is give CAM time but I’m sorry if you don’t have an offensive system in place now that utilizes your best offensive abilities I don’t know what to tell you. So I have tried defending CAM on here on several occasions but this is getting bad. I understand that the offense is partially looking bad because shots aren't falling for shooters but that's only part of the problem that I see. CAM isn't utilizing Morgan or Langford very well at all. The offense is stagnant. Romeo is only getting shots by creating for himself or shooting out of a dribble hand off or a dribble weave up top. This staff isn't using any pin down, cross screen, or really any pick and roll/pop actions. This to me is concerning because they aren't utilizing our players the way other schools utilize theirs. Also more times than not bad shots out of bad offense don't go in. This is what I see. Durham shoots multiple contested threes almost every game and others do as well. This is because IU is easy to guard from an offense stand point however they do have a couple guys that can go and get their points and that is really the only way it seems like IU scores. This is just my two cents but it is concerning to me.

UNC is also desperate to land Brooks and Anthony at this point because they have missed on almost all of their other targets. But once again Vandy was certain they would land Romeo up until he announced so take it with a grain of salt. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Should he have been playing on offense from the start? Yes. Should they have used him at QB in certain packages more? Yes. But will he ever be a starting QB at IU? No. Guys get moved from QB to DB when they go from Hugh school to college all the time. His only chance to play in the NFL is at WR and DB. IU had more depth at WR so they planned on putting his athleticism and play making skills to use on defense. Not to mention I’m sure Carmel made sure to at least dig if not double or triple team TJD on every post catch since he isn’t much of a threat on the perimeter and that can be a problem when you have 6’9 standing between you and the basket. I know Owens is about 6’6 for Carmel and they also have a couple of kids that are listed 6’7 and 6’8 on the roster too although I’m not sure how much they play. You do realize Romeo did almost the same thing with Vandy. He didn’t pick up the vandy hat like Bell did but he definitely moved his hand towards it before picking up the IU hat. Yes it’s a little different but not that much different imo. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Guys TJD had a bad game. He was after all going up against another D1 kid who is 6’9 and Carmel also has a more talented roster that did finish runner up to Warren Central last year.
