  1. This seems contradictory to what you were saying....why would we give minutes to a player who only was worthy of garbage minutes all year instead of giving it to a freshman?
  2. Simply put....exactly what does he have to hold over Romeo? What's he going to do, cut his minutes next year? When someone says that aren't playing, the worse thing you can do is put an unmotivated player on the court. You can try to convince him to play, but if he's set on not playing I personally don't want someone playing over guys that want to play.
  3. The only thing is that if we are forced to play the other guards, we only have three....plus Anderson. And all three of them are in the starting rotation. Any foul trouble, injury, etc., and we could see 26 minutes of Anderson like we did the first time we played Arkansas.
  4. Here is another one that I think is more complete: http://www.verbalcommits.com/transfers/2019
  5. Things going downhill fast at Northwestern. Been in a freefall ever since they made the dance. In the seven days since the season ended, three players (Ash, Falzon, and Benson) have announced they are transferring. Will be eligible immediately as grad transfers. Ash was their team captain this year. None of three are particularly good but would have likely be in the mix for decent minutes this season (particularly Benson). With graduating seniors and transfers, they will be returning about 30% of their scoring next year.
  6. I would prefer four quarters over the current set up. Go with television timeouts at five minutes left between quarters with a longer commercial break between quarters. Instead of four television time outs in a half there would be three with one of them being longer.
  7. I was at the game at the Big Ten tourney and there was a definite moment before he went to the locker room where he was wincing and grabbing at his lower back on the way back downcourt on defense. The St. Francis game he wasn't needed for (or at least there shouldn't be any reason to think we would need him) and for that reason if there was any lingering tweak he shouldn't have played. If he doesn't play Saturday, I'm sure that conspiracy theorists will be afoot. That doesn't mean there wrong, just there will be people that will be saying he isn't playing because he doesn't want to risk injury before entering the draft.
  8. They are also beef jerky. If you want to get to something that isn't beef jerky, he's going to have to take off his beef jerky pants to get to it.
  9. Indiana athletic sight announced that the Arkansas game will be Saturday.
  10. He Is what he is. I don't think what he is as bad as people think....his effective shooting percentage is above 50% and he is our best shooter. And when you dive into thd stats he is getting more assistant/game then RP despite playing fewer minutes.
  11. I am, with or without.
  12. I was agreeing with that (and also wasn't saying Zion wouldn't be one of the OAD who would be playing if he went right to the NBA). I was saying that the NCAA gets to showcase the OAD, so they benefit.
  13. Arkansas up 42-31 at half at Providence.
  14. And in the case of a lot of one and dones, they are getting showcased in the NCAA whereas going into the NBA at 18, they aren't getting on the court yet.
  15. I can sell you Ethan Happ in the lane. Real camper.
  16. Of course you know the moment he said '69th place', he started dreaming of his sister.
  17. People also really hate Duke. Either is okay for them because people tune in to either see them win or lose.
  18. Arkansas taking it to Providence....up 20-9.
  19. Big Cake Boss episode that night. MacRoberts might be watching it on his phone while he's on the court.
  20. C'mon....most fans think he's wrong about everything. ;)
  21. Well, watching the Arkansas/Providence game....because why not.
