In the two biggest sports, CFB and CBB, they only a few NCs in either if we're talking about the last 30 years. PAC has really dropped off. Now if you want to talk Water Polo and Beach Volleyball, than sure lol..

I agree the fan base has been lost for a long time. But Rome was not rebuilt in less than a year. Folks gotta try and be a little realistic. Woody didn't take over a great roster. He had one proven player. Knight kinda locked down the state. He also didn't do better in his 1st year, than the previous season IIRC.... In today's "now" environment, nobody was going to make fans happy.

Dude, our entire bench sucked. 3-14. So which suck do you want more of. Our collective level of talent is just not that good. And G is just abysmal. XJ and PS aren't consistent at all. The young guys iffy at best, but I would like to see more PT now that the playoffs are looking out of reach.

I've been so tired of Kopp all year. I really just don't know what value he brings.

Guard play is just horrendous. Not sure how some blame Woody for XJ 3-16, and the bench 3-12. 6-28 is big stinky. And bricking open looks hurts my soul.

Gonna take a few years for CMW to get his players, create the culture, and really be able to run his system. I think many expect too much in year one, especially with 3 new starters that never played at IU before..... I'm just happy with the win over PU at this point. Given our starters aren't going to take us far, I just hope we can get some of the younger guys more PT to prep for next year.

Nah. We have 3 new starters that didn't play for IU last year, and none of them are scoring threats. The 4th starter who has PT at IU, is not a top 100, or even a top 25 guy at position. What is putrid is the talent level that exists right now. We have 3 guys that were recruited to IU and are top 100 rated. One is TJD. One is Lander. One is Bates. Two Gs and a 5 that's really a tweener. Not saying you need KY's class every year. But at least you need some decent guys in the same system for a few years like PU....

He's good, very good, just forced to develop and play based purely on our lack of talent in places lol... Classic tweener. Had we had a true and established 5 when he got here, I think things might be different for him. He may have been brought along more slowly..... It is what it is though. Not sure we'll be much better once he's gone though. If we can find better outside shooters, then yes, maybe. Right now our outside shooting sucks. We have zero go-to guys on O except for TJD. That's not his fault. And those guys don't necessarily get better when he leaves lol.

Hey, we beat PU this year. That's something Archi couldn't do. Ever. And we did it with 3 guys starting that didn't play for this team last year. In short, nothing wrong with caring, or being optimistic. Not saying we should be sunshine pumping. I agree 110% it's not a quick fix. But we've seen some positives out of Woody that we didn't see with Archie. I'll give Woody a few years to get his own guys, and for the guys to learn his system. Losing TJD will absolutely hurt. But year two with some of the guys like Bates, year one with Hood-Schifino, and whoever walks through the portal.... I'm not totally down on the future. While I agree losing TJD sucks, it also sucks when your offense is 99% reliant on a 5, that really isn't a 5, and doesn't have any other legit scorers. Defense though looks nice in year one.....

I know not great in that area, but I've seen worse lol. I'll take his fouls in place of Kopp's zero production/minute...

What a complete turd from some of the guys... Stewart and Galloway were big stinky.... Only 11 combined minutes from Durr and Geronimo? And what exactly is Kopp bringing to the table... anyone? anyone? Bueller? At least Bates had a good game.
