There will be a game 7. Hopefully thunder play like this in Game 7

We were never going to win that game. We could have done more to win it. But the blatant ignored fouls. The blocking foul that wasn’t. No the fix was in. The only way we were going to win that game was if OKC missed their FTs

Well we aren’t really allowed to play defense. If we are too close to SGA he will jump into the defender and it will be a foul on the defender

Refs were never going to let us win. i had hoped they chose the plucky underdog storyline for this season. But alas they chose the relentless all time season storyline

The thunder basically fouled them the whole fourth quarter dating the refs to call them for it. The refs declined the opportunity. The refs seemed to focus on incidental contact during shots while ignoring blatant fouls not during the act of shooting. The Pacers didn’t seem to adjust to this. But they were never going to get the SGA treatment.

Markets don’t matter. Besides the refs can only help them so much. Lebron went to Cleveland. And people nationwide starting wearing Cavs jerseys. Manufacturing stars anywhere is more important than getting bigger market teams success. Especially when somehow the Lakers can just keep trading bags of candy wrappers for star players.

Game 4 bad calls is the evidence.

Markets matter less than superstars. They can’t have the MVP superstar losing.

Only hope now is the NBA script is that the Pacers win another one in OKC. Comes down to what the league has decided best fits this seasons narrative. It’s all crooked

Starting to think even if the Thunder were intentionally trying to foul Halliburton the refs wouldn’t call it.

I originally was annoyed that there were only 2 days rest/prep for this game but as gassed as the top heavy thunder have looked in the 4th I am glad they only had 2 days rest. We didn’t shoot particularly well last 2 games hopefully tonight’s a night where we can get the 3s to fall and just wear the thunder down on D. Most important Game in Pacers NBA history. Maybe they will let Halliburton actually shoot a FT tonight.

I genuinely think the bad/bias officiating is why the NBA is receding as a force in sports. It sorted started under MJ but really I think this is with intention in their desire to fill the void. Literally getting every call under the sun and Lebron couldn’t match Jordan. Even if the games aren’t rigged it then begs the question why officiating has been allowed to be terrible for decades.

The different whistles for different jerseys followed us to Indy. The NBA has decided this series.

Interesting point about moving the schedule. Honestly the NBA could think about that with decreased viewership. That and honestly in conjunction with their desire to end super teams I think they need a massive expansion. Tons of big markets lack a team. Id add an expansion team to each division. To keep balance. Division opponents - 4 games each 20 total Other conference - 2 games each 56 Total Same conference - 2 games each 80 Total And you play the other teams from your conference you placed the same place in their divisions to round it out to 82. And if you give the expansion teams the first 6 picks for a few years you might stop tanking.

Yeah that’s just ridiculous that transcends sports. Clutch is the ability to not panic when the pressure is on. I think that’s one reason Carlisle doesn’t call timeouts. Doesn’t want the other team to have time to prepare. Mentally or tactically. Hali doesn’t need time to do that.
