    If you want to listen to “insiders” on this site or others that have told us in the past Brad Stevens and Billy Donovan were done deals go ahead. Not only were they wrong on Stevens and Donovan but they had little to no knowledge of who the eventual hire would be til it was making the rounds in social media.

    If you’ve been around for the last couple coaching searches you should know not to believe much of what is posted on here until you start to see in media outlets too. The BS rumors that have been posted here over the years are completely false according to a star player on the Butler FF runs who is still well connected to Stevens.

    Great coach I would 100% get behind. Just think it’s totally unrealistic at this point in his career.

    Dilly Bonovan has a losing record right now so maybe?

    Yes but realistically is the GM of the second seed in the east gonna leave a situation that by all accounts has been a match made in heaven. It’s highly unlikely.

    It’s not about as much as he built a legitimate contender and to see it through. Has a GM ever left under these circumstances? Seems like Stevens and the Celtics have been a match made in heaven.

    NBA playoffs don’t start till the middle of April. Can’t see a GM leaving a good team before or in the middle of a playoff run if you are hoping for Stevens.

    First weekend of the dance is March 22-23. Gotta think that would be the earliest we hear anything.

    I think May might be a better coach. Williams was great at playing “the game” to win though.

    I highly doubt he “has his guy” at this point. None of these college coaches are making deals right now and the Celtics are in second place in the east. Maybe more along the lines of we will listen after the season

    Williams had a very good run at Kansas before UNC. They are not the same…yet.

    May is one of the riskiest moves Dolson could make right now. Hiring a guy away from a conference rival adds a whole different level risk to navigate.

    If he wins you mean. Which was my point he is not an exciting hire for the fan base in general.

    Half the fan base won’t be against but the love May gets on this board doesn’t exist with the average fan. He wouldn’t win the presser at this point. That might change if he makes a deep run in the tournament.

    Nothing is gonna happen for at least a month. All these guys are still coaching including Woodson.

    Don’t boo him. He’s done. Maybe the team will remove their heads from you know where and start playing up to expectations. I give no passes to the players.

    If the university is stick to some moral high ground then we deserve what we get. That’s been part of the problem the last 15 years. Brad Stevens isn’t a done deal yet?

    Best if Woodson does finish the season. I want no part of an interim guy getting hot. Still gives Dolson a great start on the new guy.

    Not sure letting him go immediately is a good thing. Interim guy could have a little success and IU will hire him.
