One name I hear people talk about that I just would not be happy with is Andy Enfield. Am I missing something? Since he coaches a West Coast team I haven't watched them play so I really don't know much about him other than the few games I saw when he coached at Florida Gulf Coast.

Probably so, but has always been on my want list. He is the best coach in college basketball in my humble opinion.

For whatever reason, it didn't work out here and a change was needed. But thanks for the hard work you put into the program. You were always a classy individual and I always wished you the best. Most of all, thanks for the high character athletes you brought in. It was refreshing to not hear about off the court issues that plaques so many programs. Good luck coach, I'll be rooting for you.

I kid, of course. It's just nice to be able to have fun thinking about the future of this team again. I've been miserable the last few years and it's refreshing to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I could not agree more with this statement. I totally understand if you want a change in direction, but I do not understand the hatred and nastiness I see toward Coach Crean in this thread. The man has worked incredibly hard the last 9 years(albiet with mixed results) and he does not deserve the general disdain/hostility he gets from people in this thread. Come on guys, we are not UK fans, we are better than this.
