I've actually followed the women's team more closely than the men's this year. So happy for them. Here's to hoping for an upset in the sweet 16, but just getting there is a huge accomplishment. What Moren has been able to do since arriving is incredible.
I mean it's obviously hinting at Brad Stevens to IU. Boston clearly needs to upgrade its roster. Basically, see Boston do nothing to upgrade, which means they aren't making a run which could mean he wouldn't want to commit to Boston if Ainge and ownership don't want to commit to upgrading the roster.
It's a total stretch and I believe there is a 0% chance Stevens is the next coach. But I believe this is what he is referring to.
No doubt it would be an awesome story if he came here and was successful. I'd love that. But it's a huge gamble. If we're going to gamble on an IU guy, I think the better odds are with Fife or Lewis personally.
Speed date style. At the end of the night IU writes down whoever they are interested in, same with the coaches. Matches move on to the 2nd round of interviews.
It's irrational. The guy has managed to win the ACC 5 out of the last 8 years at Virginia and hasn't missed the tournament since 2012. Oh, and won a national championship.
