  1. Scott hit a foul shot with 1 sec to win it. Butler hit some tough shots down the stretch. Regardless of a loss on the road to a in state school they r good. The trees needed that close game after those early losses First time the trees have beaten butler in 10 years. The bally will be rocking tonight Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  2. Trees beat butler and a court storm is on. What a game Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  3. You can watch him against Illinois on Saturday I believe Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  4. Northwestern has a shot in my opinion both loses were to good teams and both came down to the final few possessions Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  5. The Big Ten looks very top heavy with Wisconsin, IU, & Purdue leading the pack. League will be VERY close 4-14. A lot of tight games coming. @jonrothstein Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  6. Anything can happen with in state rivalries especially on your home court Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  7. Indiana st has a big game tonight against butler at the Hulman center. I wish I was back home for this one. Hopefully terre haute fills the gym tonight Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  8. B1G teams with remaining possible good wins in the OOC Indiana- butler, Louisville Michigan- @Ucla Northwestern- Dayton? Purdue- notre dame Wisconsin- Marquette? Penn state- Pittsburgh? Nebraska- Creighton, @Kansas Rutgers- seton hall? Illinois- Byu? Ohio st- uconn?, UCLA Iowa- Iowa state Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  9. And that would effect the B1G teams that don't already have a couple of big wins more than it would iu. As of now wisky is Ken Pom (8)and we would play them 2 (Ken Pom loves him some wisky), Purdue (12) we play them 2 times, Michigan(26) and we play them 2 times. Now these numbers will change overtime and the committee will use rpi( rpi can't be trusted this early it needs time for the numbers to work themselves out). Iu just needs to avoid multiple +100 L's and in my opinion if they win they games they are supposed to at home in the B1G they will get a good seed Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  10. yeah not a lot there in the non conference I was just pointing out iu would have plenty of marquee wins chances in the B1G regardless of it having a bad OOC. Committee judges each team individually on their team sheets they won't penalize iu because other B1G teams couldn't win in the OOC or at least that has what the committee chair has said in the past Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  11. The B1G had terrible OOC loses last year as well. Marquee wins would be @purdue, @wisky, wisky, Purdue, Michigan st. It's still early but 13 of 14 B1G teams are in the Ken Pom top 100( 1 guess which school isn't) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  12. Yep, minimizing multiple +100 rpi loses is a key to a higher seed. Iu proved that last year. They had the wins last year to warrant a 3 or 4 seed however the losses to penn state(121), unlv(148), and wake(154) were the reason they won the big 10 regular season and ended up with a 5 seed Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  13. your right there was no excuse to lose that game. It will be a bad loss in fans eyes but in the committee eyes( the only ones that matter) , if Fort Wayne wins there league like they did last year and are projected to do this year they will be in the top 75 in rpi which will not be considered a bad loss. As long as that would be iu's worst loss it won't effect them. Examples from previous years. Kansas lost to tcu ( rpi +200 on the road) and still got a 1 seed, last year they lost to Oklahoma st on the road(+150 rpi) and still got a 1 seed) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  14. Miami freshman Bruce Brown tallies a triple-double --- 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists --- in Hurricanes' win over South Carolina St. @jonrothstein Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  15. Ohio st tied with Florida Atlantic. Florida Atlantic had ball with 7 sec and a kid dribbles ball off his foot out of bounds. Overtime Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  16. Villanova up 2 on LaSalle 15 to go. Big 5 game Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  17. rankings are weekly. The first game of the season 13 Indiana beat 3 Kansas. The next week Kansas fell like they should of however Kansas turned around and beat the number 1 team in the nation and got rewarded while iu lost to Fort Wayne (Ken Pom 117) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  18. I watched old dominion take them to over time. As good as their defense can be, their offense can be that bad. They can have stretches where they really struggle to score the ball. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  19. I wouldn't worry about those wins not looking good. Rankings are weekly and are mostly for fans to look at a brag about their team. When we get to march the committee will compare team sheets ( based on rpi) If Fort Wayne wins their league like the are projected and continue to do well in non conference( notre dame on Wednesday) their rpi will be in the 70's which will not be considered a bad loss on the road by the committee even though I still think it was. If in march Kansas, North Carolina and Indiana are close on the seeding line those wins will be significant regardless if they are ranked 7 spots better then iu Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  20. No. 1 v No. 2 and No. 3 v No. 5 at the @FORUMTipoff on Saturday at Southport ibcacoaches.com/coaches-player… @BSnowScout Friendly reminder there will be some awesome high school basketball going on at Southport gym on Saturday. Let me know if anyone is going. I will give some scouting reports and also I got in touch with Brian snow (Scouts recruiting analyst) on twitter and plan on talking hoops (iu recruiting) with him between games. He said he was the one that put this classic together Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  21. And I will be at southport on the 10th in my iu gear rooting him on against Wilkes Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  22. Butler has 4 Indiana kids and of those kids 1 starts. Their best players are out of state but I agree with you. Usually when Indiana plays in states kids on other teams they always seem to have their best game Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  23. I watched him drop over 35 his freshman year against clay city. The game was close and then he just took over and hit like 4 threes in a row including a step back. Nothing like class A or class 2a basketball games in Indiana. That place was electric. Trey lyles had a friend on cloverdale as well and was he losing his mind watching copper. While I wished clay city would of won it was one of those nights where u where glad u were in the gym to see it Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  24. Duquesne beat Pitt tonite Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  25. Based on Tom Crean's comments on pregame radio show, doesn't sound like OG Anunoby is going to be out very long. #iubb @insidethehall Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
