I cant like or agree with this enough

I’m still in the Pearl or bust mode. Hes proven and with our NIL and everything. He’d kill it. Bring him in for 5-7 year minimum, then we he leaves, we won’t even be looking at coaches from Dayton or FAU.

May will come in with so many expectations, I don’t see him being able to fufulll them to what we all want IU to be and IU will be back to mediocre at best, if not worst.

Will i take May over Woodson, hell yes. Will it immediately make me pumped for next season…meh

SIAP, but I was going back through the Monday night chat last night. And saw this story

1.) This will sound like l'm piling on. Not my intention. Just passing on a story. There's been some frustration with the "chances" that our current assistants get to have a meaningful impact on the current team and our recruiting. So, I'm only speaking personally, I did think it was odd to hear that one of the people Mike enjoys listening to about IUBB (outside of the Wittman, Todd, Hill braintrust) is..... Terri (Woodson)

So outside of his buddies, he goes to his WIFE over the staff for recruiting. Makes the Boogie situation sound a lot more believable.

100%. He doesnt care about the optics, just wants to have his boy int here. 

Sidenote,  I texted my mom last night (former AAU Girls coach so she knows ball) and asked her "Mom, if you were Buckner and i was Woodson, how would this be going". Without missing a beat, she said "Son i love you, but you @$$ would be canned already"

Bottom line.....
If a change is not made, the brass in charge are not serious about IU basketball ever becoming an relevant player in the landscape of college basketball for the foreseeable future.  
That's really all that needs to be said.

I understand your concern but I’m not here as an influencer. Some things have been suggested or even alleged that aren’t accurate and I wanted to share what I know. Your skepticism is both understandable and welcome, but that’s why I posted. If you have other questions for me, I’ll do my best to provide answers, including telling you I don’t know. I just wanted to address the Dolson versus Buckner narrative, which I don’t believe is accurate on any way for the reasons I listed, as well as a few others that I can’t confirm bit believe to be true.
