Oh Dan what the hell were you thinking? You don’t do that from a professional or even human decency standpoint. My worry with Coach Woodson (my impression, I don’t know if true) is that he’s quite stubborn and is prone not to listen to criticism to make adjustments. Even if my belief is true, I still wouldn’t do that to my boss.

I don’t want yes men on the coaching roster. Stubbornness usually leads to a coaches downfall.

I also think we need a neutral board to talk about the big ten conference and see if collectively put pressure for the big ten to at least address the situation. They have no accountability, so they’re just going to keep riding that gravy train of money.

Wish we could split this thread in two (coaches/ Players) I give Woodson a B- the good - he was able to lay down a defensive foundation that carried well all season minus this last game due to being tired and there was some development into X’s game. He’s a fighter and could set the example for our young incoming guards. the bad- Woodson stubbornness to play Stewart and Kopp. Those were some valuable minutes that could have been used for Geronimo, trey, and Bates’s development. That being said I think a lightbulb was turned on with Bates and Geronimo at the end there. I think all three will be something special at the end of next season. With hopefully taller more athletic recruits in the future, we could develop something great. Le’s hope for the best.

Honestly they’re tired. IU’s defense was always good with previous teams that shot it late. It’s those last seconds where I see tired feet and giving them too much space. I try to call it how I see it. My main issue with Woodson is that he’s to loyal to players that start.

I have to wake up at 2:30 in the morning. Hopefully me leaving ignites a miracle.
