I actually went to Norwell.  There are a few regulars on here that attended Bellmont.    That might have been during the dark years at Norwell.  We had a coach that played stall ball that really brought that program down.  Luckily we had enough sense to S***can him.   It was sad to see Elmhurst close.  I drive past that school once in a while and shake my head.

Norwell decided to make it interesting against Heritage last night.  Scored only 9 points in the first half.  Ended up winning in 2OT 53-46.  This is why I have gray hair.  On to Bellmont Friday night.

don't know him personally but as the rest of his family very tough minded.  Not as physical though as his brothers.

Go Knights! (as in Norwell Knights)   Sorry my Bellmont Braves fellow posters on here. Hoping for a Sectional Title again.   We lost Tuesday in 3OT to Snider. Our kids aren't afraid of anybody except Swanigan :).

April (and not the player sitting on the bench) is a long ways away.  Syracuse is in disarray and Bryant could surround himself with veteran talent that could make a serious run next season.  Make the decision now for IU!

Given the history...it doesn't bode well.  If half of the UK bigs go pro that is still an open door for him.   Trying not to be negative, just realistic.

I can't see anything.  What is going on?   Side note:  I see the Michigan game being harder than what it looks.  They haven't exactly been getting blown out with the squad.  Reminds me of IU during our mini run there.  Just saying.  Take every game for what it's worth.

For grins, I hopped on the PU forum.  Very, very ugly!  Verbal punches being thrown by posters.  They even invited PU fans to hop on the "IU site" if they were going to be fair weather fans.  Not much control on there.  Painter better find sanctuary.  The torches are very hot there. 

Here are some quick B1G thoughts I have after seeing the Incarnate Word debacle.   -I love that we have only home and neutral court games before the B1G starts.  I would almost like to see a true road game before that though.  MSG wasn't exactly a hostile environment.   -After seeing what is going down in our conference so far, it puts even more pressure on us to win in conference this year.  ANY loss outside of Wisky could be viewed as a bad loss to the selection committee.  Home games are always important, but we need to steal as many as we can on the road.   -I hate UK and Louisville with a passion.  I hope Louisville kicks their butts.

Nope!   A little negativity can go a long way on a team.   Just get Thomas Bryant and keep our core.  We will be OK!

I cannot freaking STAND Kentucky!   Bury the Blue deep and stand on their grave NCAA.  Make a statement for once!

It's hard to win in Madision.  We know by experience that the officiating will be biased.  I have to give a very slight edge to Wisky.   It's hard to root for either team in this one but this is a B1G vs ACC thing.  I have always hated the ACC because of Dicky V.

Talent can get you there...experience can get you even further.

Hate to say it but Dwenger was the better team to come out of the Blackford Regional.  They are extremely physical and get just enough edge to beat you.  They will give Bowman fits but do not expect them to come out of Semi.

Norwell came out unscathed from their Sectional.   Regional includes:  Northwood vs. FW Bishop Dwenger and Norwell vs. Muncie Central   These teams are identical in the style of play.  Should be interesting.   Go Knights!
