Seen a lot of rumors and chatter over the years on these message boards. My concern about the Pearl and May talk is that it’s simply nothing more than wishful thinking by us. Peegs is where most of the info seemed to come from with BD and BS to be our future coaches. Trilly and Slater getting info from him as well lately. We were to get Boogie Fland over Kentucky as an example. Lots of times it seems this stuff is made up just to make money on the pay sites, not factual information . Kathy with a C lol, comes on here and tells it how the process is behind the scenes and then we shift our hopes back to May from Pearl. oh, and “Smoke screens” is my favorite topic lol. Not sure any of that ever comes true. Sorry for the rant! I’m still reading with hope that I’m wrong. I hope the administration gets it right this time, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

I get tired of media saying we were all excited with the Woody hire when it happened . The only reason most of us warmed up to the thought of it was because we had Matta and Fife on board. Woody was my least favorite of the bunch.

I don’t think Quinn is going to let his other brother in a power position get let go .We will be stuck with Woody another year. I’m sure Dolson is looking around just incase. That’s his job. I don’t buy that any numbers have been agreed on with Pearl. That’s some more Billy Donovan, Brad Stevens rumor mill stuff that just gets our hopes up at the end of the day.

That’s what happens when you hire a former player like CW. Hard to get rid of . I said that when we hired him.

Not a rumor so don’t run with it.. any chance players know We are making a change after season and that’s why we are playing looser?

This is great entertainment. I think most of us have the same wants for a new coach A,B,c,D are similar. I just don’t know if I buy into the talk of Dolson has a plan. I’m not sold that this is happening. I feel like we have been down this road before. Just wanted to throw out some red flags to prepare us before the crash! Carry on.

Ohio st over Purdue and Michigan St with a part time coach could be IU with a different coach.

Todd wants to use his new shot doctor business to help the players. I guess they haven’t asked for his help. I believe he would be back to telling it how it is if he wasn’t wanting to get in with the team and help out (get paid). I think Todd would be more harsh like years past if he wasn’t promoting his business.

I’m from Evansville area. Pearl is loved here and would kill it recruiting Indiana. I have been a big supporter and mention his name every-time we get close to a coaching change. If you want a bridge builder, Pearl is the sure thing. If you want to take a risk but bigger payoff down the road, Dusty may be the guy.

I’d prefer Oats at this point , but I wanted to hire Pearl every coaching change after Davis .Go big or go home.

Woodson needs to land Queen. His momentum has taken a hit.

How about we ask Pearl, Oats, or another big name and if they say no we hire May and have two head coaches here next season. Dusty coach offense and Woody coach defense . Woodson can retire after next season.

I’m ready to pull the plug. I’ve seen enough to know that our offense is predictable and our adjustments are too. Mcneely seems to love it here. Keep Walsh and get moving on 25 class before it’s too late. I prefer oats but also don’t want to see May get away with a steep buyout for next year.

Wish there was a way to work out a deal with May and retain Woody in a different role. That probably sounds dumb but it would be a win win with recruiting, keeping Malik, and others, and hopefully landing 24 and 25 recruits.Woody could still be a part of getting us back to where he wants us to be. Everybody gets paid!

This is exactly what I am afraid will happen.
