Lyle is a headcase that got denied admission at Oregon. Freaking Oregon. He may have 5 star talent, but in my opinion he would be a detriment to the team. A team that has a great GPA and seemingly good chemistry. If Cal backs off of a kid, that's a red flag

At this point in IU Basketball, I don't think we can pick and choose how we get 5 stars

For once in your freaking history, make the correct ruling NCAA. Do it. Do it.

We will know next Monday. I doubt they'll get anything much to be honest.

I hate Syracuse

He's a gonner -
This was likely our last shot at a long shot of a recruit. You have got to be kidding me

Yep

The most interesting thing about the Syracuse board is everyone's acceptance that Fab Melo received benefits and had grades altered. If you consider yourself a "blue blood" program and one of the best institutions in the area, how can they just accept this? Another thing they're discussing is the punishment. The biggest worry they have is a post-season ban second only to...whether wins will be vacated. For what reason? To make sure Boeheim can still get 1,000 wins. Wow.

Just don't bring a tent

The following is a post on their board coming from their "recruiting guru." They're sweating That's a bit of a concern. SU's troubles could possibly open the door for IU, especially if Mom signs off on it unlike Mizzou. Francis03, 11 minutes ago

If HH is what it is marketed as and if this grand surprise blows everyone's skirts up, then I think a shift will begin. Sure he's closer to home at Cuse, but hopefully his mom can realize he's being taken care of very well here. They better blow this one out and the fans better bring it.
-
They have a picture they constantly post that they claim is an "IU fan" from last years game. The girl is in just a bra and panties. Turns out it was a drunk Cuse student who sat in the same row as a few IU fans. But they'll never let the truth get in the way.
-
Some fans over at syracusefan are speculating they won't have the room and some are even speculating about losing a scholarship. The majority seem confident in their "sources" that he is headed there. As an aside, Syracuse basketball fans are about as high and mighty as I have ever seen. Our Scout board doesn't even come close to the arrogance of those pricks.

Good luck with that

Who knows, he may decide to commit earlier. The recruitment process is long and I know most players feel relief when it's over. Maybe he decides to bump it up if there are clear favorites. A spring commitment wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, but it would seriously halt momentum. It will be a race to see who get get in his ear last.

(2015) SF Ogugua Anunoby to IU

I'm confused. People were JUST arguing that Crean had no plan going in to this season with the transfers and were quick to jump on him for signing Priller and April. Now we are asking why Crean has to oversign? Seriously? Which way do you want it: no oversigns and complain about the lack of star power in late signees or oversign and complain we oversign? This is a perfect example of hate him if he does, hate him if he doesn't -
Make no mistake, him coming back is HUGE. Mom definitely wants to know her child will be taken care of. Crean can definitely sell our family style within the program. Is it a violation for a recruits mother to talk to family members of current players? If it isn't I would park her right next to Dr. Ferrell

At no point in the game did he look comfortable. I hope he finds a comfort level in the pocket, but man does he like to get out in a hurry
-
Don't do that. If she says no, you'll end up on YouTube
-
The one thing we can offer this kid that Cuse can't is playing time and exposure. Look at their current 2015 class. Loaded with 6'7" plus kids. Here, he would be able to show his skills like Vonleh did.
-
Good work. I'll take it
-
Anyone can do that no matter their University affiliation
