That would be all well and good if he truly and passionately wanted to go here. With his previous actions, it doesn't seem to be the case. Someone will pick him up on full scholarship
-
I don't like where this is heading. Let's get back on topic. I want more details about him enrolling in Spring and how this would work.
-
What relationship does Martin have with Bryant. Sorry if this was previously posted
-
The kid has been very immature in both academics and the things that he has done off the court. Changed his mind on college several times indicating he has no idea what he wants in a program. Denied at Oregon. Trouble follows him and many posters have offered concern he just doesn't get it. He's very talented but at what cost? Hollowell wasn't half the distraction this kid is and we all saw how that ended up. Ron Patterson 2.0
-
How late? Surely not Spring right?
-
What would you say if he was a 3 star
-
He's late in picking IU on Bryant. Meyer still, has Mizzou I believe. I think Messmer knows it's between us and Cuse.
-
To add to that, Messmer has Shake going to OU. So let's see how that pans out. I think he's right
-
For what it's worth, Messmer is 2 for 2 on IU picks thus far.

Once again, everyone who wants Hartman and Priller over OG and Juwan, please keep bashing this signing and Crean's oversigning. Just don't complain when we stink. -

On what he’s most looking forward to about playing at Indiana: “Just playing under the bright lights in the Big Ten. Playing for coach Crean. And wearing the candy stripes.” Nuff said -
Not in my book. We have no real backup QB on the roster. How does that happen? Other than Missouri, this team hasn't played any different than last season minus the running game. No one gave Lynch this many seasons without a bowl. CKW shouldn't be an exception.

I'm not really a take someone's word for it kind of person. I'll believe it when I see it. He was listed as 6'6" a little over a month ago -

Picture for reference because none of you guys have seen OG in person. I know how tall Devin is. I know how tall Troy is. Does me no good without someone seeing OG -

I mean that in the sense that I don't believe for one second he's 6'8" -

The more I watch this kid on YouTube videos, the more I want him. He is definitely undersized but he just has that it factor when he makes decisions around the basket. -

Watch the McGill and UQAM games. Seriously tell me he's not the most lost player on the court on either team. -

He's a Hoosier. You are correct. But the question many had is what happens when we oversign by 2-3 players. If one player goes to the NBA, two will have to leave. Watching every Canada game there was clearly one player far behind the rest in every aspect except launching threes. He won't be able to get those shots off against MSU or Louisville. Just not happening. So in the case players are coming in, players will transfer for minutes. Priller and Hartman are no brainers at this point. I hope he drops shots when he does play this year. But as others have pointed out, he's at the skill level of Howard. -

The odds Bryant comes in are very very slim. So unless there's an unknown big we get in on late, this will be most likely a wing class. In this case, Perea is essential, whether he's improved or not. We don't have any other options. Personally, I think Hanner will be just fine. And I'm not knocking Priller. He's hustled just like everyone else this summer. But just watch the full game against McGill. He's lost on nearly every play and lost out on rebounds to guys half his size. Let's be real. -

We have no bigs coming in. He's one of our biggest players and has game experience. Are you saying he's at all expendable over anyone on this team? I'm not even sure what your point is here. You know who we need and who is expendable. Right? Like...you can watch a game and know Hartman probably will never produce at IU. You can see why we need Perea. Surely.. -

Transfers are a reality. Call it "Creaning" or whatever, but every school does it. Of course we aren't getting rid of Perea, he produces. Hartman has not. Priller isn't a BIG caliber type player. They're expendable and will probably be encouraged to seek other places to play. It's not ideal, but it's how it is. If anyone would rather have Priller and Hartman next season and tell Juwan, Shake, and OG to screw off, then don't be mad if we aren't any good. It's a two way street and everyone is trying to have it their own way.
