We need a clarification here. When he said "everyone" does he mean just the staff or all the players?

Crean is the type of guy that would probably point at the wall and say they aren't playing to those expectations and they didn't deserve to be there. I wouldn't want to be at practice today. Sometimes a horrible practice needs to be stopped so everyone brings it the next time and so it never happens again.
-
I guarantee Crean didn't stop a good practice

Our insider said everyone got kicked out of practice last night

Stop with the fire Wilson nonsense

I would be completely fine with mediocrity if mediocrity meant a bowl. I don't expect IU football to ever be in the running for the BIG championship, but at least win half of your games. 4 of those games are served up on a platter in the non conference. I guess coaching turnover hasn't been the answer so far. Might as well see what a coach who stays for a minute does. -
Monday after homecoming. These guys need to realize there isn't that much time left to slack off after a big weekend. Hysteria is Friday gentlemen

I hate to even throw this out there...but he may have better offers than IU already calling -

It's a whole lot easier getting offensive players. They can see how many go on to the NFL and how high powered we are. Defensively, most 3 stars even would pass on us just because their exposure would be minimal. Hopefully we can land some diamonds in the rough and get the guys we need in the future -
FWIW the NCAA is knocking on Syracuse's door currently http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/11718380/syracuse-university-go-ncaa-committee-infractions-end-october

Why is at after this game everyone is upset? We had no shot. Iowa was a winnable game. BGSU was winnable. Both poorly coached despite the injury. Maryland was atrocious. That game I would have expected this thread to come after. It's IU Football. Wilson had a bowl season served up on a platter and blew it. -
I'm guessing mom is going to play a large role in this

But we would never have had Tijan. Blessing in disguise.

No way! The NCAA was all over the bumper stickers that sat Jurkin and Perea! They surely couldn't mess up a case of this magnitude. I hate them all
-
I'm sure they'll spend plenty of time together. The whole team lives in the same area and from all the interviews they hang as a team daily. Can't tell you how important that is for recruiting. When you can go in to a situation and see Freshmen comfortable with Sophomores and Juniors, that's key.

The football game won't help that's for sure

Doesn't appear to be the case. Smart kid

I would maybe get her single friends to do that. Nothing says bummer like a flirty girl with a boyfriend

(2015) SF Ogugua Anunoby to IU

How good was his team? Because I saw Sheehey and a bunch of flabby frat bros demolish the eventual 5 on 5 intramural champs. Will dunked at the end and got kicked out. It wasn't even close. One of the players (Sean Esposito) transferred and played at IUPUI and another player was 6'7" and had scholarship offers from Iona and UIC -

I'm all about debate and I dislike the April and Priller additions as well. But we have literally beaten this horse to death, resurrected it several times, and beaten it again. First off, there is no "practice squad" there is only "walk on players." So if you're suggesting we keep scholarships open and just add walk on kids from HPER, you better pray no one gets injured. Priller and April could absolutely school any kid in the HPER or anywhere else on campus. -

There were coaches in the HPER building in 2008 before Finklemeier joined up. Not joking. That's how bleak it was. -
If I were to ask him one question it would be this: You rushed the court after we beat UK. You talked extensively about your excitement for Indiana. What changed? I would ask Trey Lyles the same question but we all know the answer. The apple didn't fall far from the tree in that family. At least Trey can actually prove he played at UK

But is it the Mizzou news that's scaring them off? How do people even get wind of these rumors. I really want to know the behind the scenes of recruiting. Which AAU coach gives up dirt and why. Which players talk to people. How reliable the sources are. It's crazy to me that this is a job. Where do I apply

Couldn't agree more. However, you can't complain about the program on one hand and then complain we should honor scholarships on the other. Is it right? No. But if we are going to start winning we all know who we need to get there. I hope these young men rpove me wrong, but it isn't looking good. -
Riddle me this: why is everyone making their choices on the Crystal Ball today when the kid hasn't visited Indiana yet and isn't signing until spring? What indication, other than the Mizzou rumors, would trigger this?
