  1. I agree. I didn’t see the game last night and I’m not basing any of my opinion on that. Romeo is a really, really good player. I’ve seen him play 3-4 times (scored close to 40 one time) in person and watched all of his highlights. Usually when you watch a OAD play you get that vibe like, “WOW, this guy is going to the league no doubt.” I don’t get that feeling with Romeo. Don’t get me wrong, I want Romeo to come to IU. But if he’s projected lottery after his freshman year I’ll be shocked. If I’m wrong, I’ll gladly eat crow.
  2. Maybe it was an omission, but coach didn’t mention Clifton as one of those practice players.
  3. That’s exactly what I was thinking. We could lose to both of those teams at home. Not saying it will happen, but it is a possibility.
  4. What I’m seeing from the BIG this year is that there is one clear team at the top (MSU), 2-3 teams that are clearly a step below (Pur, Mary, Minn) and everyone else is just a small notch below that group. I’m confident we will pull off some wins against teams we shouldn’t this year, and possibly lose a “wtf” game or two to someone like Rutger or Nebraska. This is the most parity I can ever remember seeing in the BIG. The talent levels are all so close.
  5. Wow. IU loses to ISU, Purdue loses to WKU, ND loses to Ball state. Weird stuff
  6. He’s originally from Iowa.
  7. My mistake then. It definitely seemed like the loudest from watching on TV
  8. Honestly it’s embarrassing that the loudest cheer of the night is for Priller
  9. Also, I have nothing against the guy, but McSwain doesn’t need to see minutes the rest of the year.
  10. Love seeing that. Out of all our shooters, im most confident when he lets it fly
  11. There we go. Have to think the lead is safe now
  12. Newkirk’s shot never looks like it’s going in lol
  13. I need to stop watching this game for my own sanity because I know what’s coming. Can’t look away though..
  14. 9-17. Like I said, can’t win when you consistently give up open 3s all game.
  15. Another layup. Take Davis out
  16. It’s not only conditioning. He’s extremely soft around the rim for a 6’10 guy. He can’t hit free throws. He’s slow on D and commits fouls because of it. Just needs a lot of work it seems
  17. We made that run with Davis on the bench..he needs to get his head out of his rear
  18. Loving the ball movement. Seems our D is fueling our O
  19. Josh is so selfish when he goes to the basket. You have to give that ball up
  20. Much better effort on defense.
  21. Davis shouldn’t be on the floor until he can hit a free throw. It’s embarrassing.
