I wouldn’t be able to hold myself to that lol but I do feel that strongly about him not coming back -

It doesn’t matter if he’s ready or not. He’s about to make millions. It’s not a hard concept to understand -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Not criticizing you, and I know we’ll hear more rumors about this, but I’ll eat my shoe if Romeo returns. It simply isn’t happening -
Idc if Romeo is sitting because of back soreness or because he’s protecting himself. Either way, I’m cool with Romeo doing what is best for him. I would love for him to play, but I’m curious how we look on offense as a team without him. Will be interesting to see and might be better long-term for us

2019 General Recruiting Thread
VO5 replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
IMO our roster is going to look so much different next year. I’d bet on adding at least 2 more guys, possibly 3. Whether that’s through grad transfers, normal transfers, or freshmen. Have a feeling we’re going to get an impact grad transfer though -
I’m an Archie believer, I’m just upset this is the 3rd straight year we’ve missed. And our consolation prize is the NIT. Yuck
-
I’m not going to fill this up with negativity so I won’t say much more after this, but really? Our women’s team has about 2% of the history/expectations of our men’s team. For the women’s team it’s a great accomplishment, for the men it’s a reminder of how far we’ve fallen and where we’re at. Comparing them is silly
-
I want to be excited but I just can’t be. We’re in a lose-lose situation. Win and we get berated for being the “69th best” team. Embarrassing. Lose early and it’s even more embarrassing. Our 2 best players are gone and I’m betting on 2 or more transfers, so how much will this actually benefit us for next year? How many fans will fill up the hall, or will it be half empty? Just another nail in our blue-blood coffin.

2019 General Recruiting Thread

Really looking forward to the grad transfer market. I’ve read similar things. Rabjohns has given hints that there will be a few very familiar names pop up. I believe we’ll get an impact guy through this route -
(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky
VO5 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Honestly I’m not even upset. Good luck to Brooks at UK. I really think Archie needs to recruit guys that have a hunger to compete and get better for the team. I think he is starting to do that and it will be better for us in the long run -
I’d argue we’re in the majority. I know many others that agree with me
-
Well I’ll tip my cap to that. If you think today was uninspired, I can’t imagine what the NIT is going to look like.
-
Who wants to watch this team play more? If we are considered a blue blood, why let that fade even more by accepting an NIT bid. We have players with 1 foot out the door and others that are going to transfer. Just let this season die and prepare for the future
-
as others have said, S/O to Devonte for today’s showing. He had some boneheaded plays but he single-handedly kept us in the game. Extremely disappointed with everyone else, including coaches. This year needs to be over. No NIT, just offseason. We need to get rid of the bad apples and figure out who wants to be here and give it all for the TEAM.
-
One thing I’ll say, and it hurts. Archie is getting absolutely owned by Holtmann. Does anyone have any confidence when we play OSU that we are getting better coaching?
-
Trash performance by everyone involved. Just sickening.
-
Fitzner? Wtf are you doing Archie
-
Btw illegal screens happen on every damn play. Gotta love when refs selectively choose to enforce them.
